Savoy Cafe — Restaurant in London

Nice place to eat with quite a lot on offer for a cafe but they do advertise as doing breakfast, lunches and dinner. Fry-ups, paninis, baguettes, rolls and sandwiches are on offer. As well as that the likes of a roast, spag bol, casserole and lasagne can be had here too.

The fry-ups are nice, the hash browns were a bit too oily for me though so avoided after the first try. They do a nice grilled chicken and salad baguette too. Lasagne chips and salad was also nice.

I think the cafe is open from 6am-3pm weekdays not sure weekend times. They have free wifi in here which is not the norm when I have been to other cafes.

Word of warning I have been over charged once here by accident by a new member of staff and also when I first visited about 3 months ago was short changed and the staff member grabbed the extra pound I was owed when she saw me walking back in the shop after checking my change. That was before I even spoke to her to say what was wrong. I dont think this waitress works here anymore though.

All in all though a good cafe with not to steep prices and I have visited here at least a couple of times a week whilst working in...

This is a cafe that was suggested to me when I inquired about somewhere to eat something. The name sou ds imposing like something Gordon Ramsey would be in but once you go in Is quite down to earth and straight forward. Nice, spacious, open. You have a big area for people to seat and eat while watching the news or a smaller space, more secluded, no TV, quieter ( closer to the kitchen ). The menu is big, you might take a while to check everything they have and make a proper choice on what to eat. Prices go from really cheap to normal to slightly over normal. This was my first time there so I can't say much about the difference in amount of food related to difference in price. I had a nice Egg, sausage, burger for £5. Not big and not too small, just right and fulfilling for my needs. Service was really good, she was patient, nice and understanding. There is no high end pompous glittery service here. The owner is a lovely guy very down to earth he hasn’t been around for a while and he’s new team are poor the red headed waitress has a very bad attitude patronising and condescending after waiting nearly 30mins for my food they got it wrong and told me they had ran out of what I ordered and will not be able to rectify she didn’t have enough change in the till apparently to give me my full refund and charged me £2 each for a can of drink...
