This is a cute little restaurant with a nice interior and decor. The service is friendly too. The food itself is generally good. I liked the breads, curry was nice and good flavours. Mango lassi is also very nice. Pani puris are yummy. The biryani was decent but I felt it didn’t have much meat in it at all. Also was expecting a bit more from it since this place is called the biryani centre. The lentil daal I didn’t like but I think that’s personal preference rather there being anything wrong with it. I was really full after and felt like I had had a nice meal. The price is reasonable and happy with value for money. On the whole decent restaurant and would recommend.

By far the best Chicken Dum Biryani I have had in London - the rice was so fragrant and the chicken so succulent! The gravy and the raita complementing it perfectly. Also, tried their Prawn Chettinad, where I was quite surprised to see the spice level be spot on as well (relatively higher than other places I have tried), pairing it up with their very crisp and fresh Veechu Parotta. Portion sizes were also quite generous for the pricing which was certainly a big plus. The staff was very kind and sweet too. I would recommend this place for sure, the house special biryani being the clear winner for me!

Very delicious food, especially the biryiani rice. We asked for accommodation because one person couldn't eat onion so it was made without caramelized onions as per request, but it was still very flavorful and yet delicate at the same time, kind of refreshing almost. The butter chicken was soft, silky and rich, and the naan was the perfect pairing. We also tried the first of the desserts and would definitely recommend it. Thumbs up from us!

Very different to your usual curry house in Uk. We really loved it. The food is home styled and very flavoursome. Being southern Indian it is more spicy than most, even the butter chicken. All the staff including the owner were super helpful, adjusting dishes to cater for specific requirements (father doesn’t eat yoghurt) and very friendly. We were lucky as we went early on a Thursday so it was quiet in arrival and they were happily chatting and sharing their considerable knowledge about the food. We paid £30 per head for poppadums (amazing!), starters (we particularly like the beetroot tiki and deep fried cauliflower), mains house special dum biriyani (excellent) old Delhi butter chicken ( delicious thick flavoursome sauce), rice and breads (wonderful paratha and garlic Nan) and large beer bottle each. By the time we left at 7:30 the restaurant was almost full. We would definitely...

can’t recommend the Biryani Centre in Southfields enough! Tucked away in a quiet residential area, it feels like such a hidden gem. I went once over the weekend and the food was so outstanding that I ended up going back again the very next day. The biryani is absolutely exceptional – fragrant, perfectly spiced, and genuinely some of the best I’ve ever had. The daal was incredible.

On top of that, the staff are warm, welcoming, and make you feel completely at home. There’s a real sense of care in both the food and the service, which makes the whole experience extra special. It’s rare to find somewhere that gets everything so right, but this place really does.

If you’re anywhere near Southfields, don’t miss it – this is a spot worth going out of...
