Subway — Restaurant in London

Ordered Beef taco sandwich at my local subway based in Sydenham High Street. I haven’t been to Subways in general for number of years. Dined in for lunch, to say it was a complete disappointment in regard to the food, service and rude ignorance from this branch. They have completely skimped on their beef, I couldn’t taste any beef taco except filled with more red onions, plenty of lettuce and bread! Of course after taking one bite I took it to the counter, informed the worker I hardly taste the beef. He just completely dismissed it, wouldn’t even acknowledge me for the lack of beef and simply said there’s a plenty of beef taco inside the sandwich. I also posted in my local fb page and seems like many locals had experienced an awful experience with this particular branch and pretty much been ripped off by them. No acceptance of coupons, no deals offered and very much skimps on their main ingredients like cheese or beef etc but fills it amply with onions, lettuce to make the sandwich look filled up! Anyhow I am sure not all subways are like that but I will not be returning to...

This subway I visited on a number of occasions in 2017...and it was bloody awful. Service was poor, mumbling questions without attention to answers, and there was literally nothing in my roll....empty. Subways are are known for and suppose to be heaving with ingredients and pressed closed and wrapped up tightly. Not a floppy, hollow, bready mess. 2018 so far a different story. Looks like new staff there who pay more attention(was a new girl on this occasion who made my roll). No scrimping on the ingredients and really filled up my roll well. Even listen to me when I asked for extra jalapenos and didnt give me the usual grunt and throw a solitary jalapeno on...which would bounce off anyway unnoticed...unloved.....forgotten. Deserves a 5 star for turning things around and giving notably improved service and a very well made tasty roll.

Keep it up so I don't cancel out the 5 star with two 1 star ratings! Bit credit where credit...

Poor service and inadequate staff who dont put the customer first. Bought 2 subs and asked for 2 Lattees and was given 2 normal coffees with milk sachets. When we questioned why the coffees was not what we ordered got told that they didnt have them on offer on the menu. It took the man 15 minutes too make the coffees as he didnt know what he was doing. So I asked for a refund so then he went off and came back with someone who is higher up than him. By this time our subs was cold and not as we wanted them. After a discussion and 20 minutes wait we was then told we could now get a other sub and it would be Free!!! We didnt want another sub as we only ordered 2 and didnt want 3. So because of there lack of customer service we wont be eating in this establishment again. Then as we walked out we got told by other customers that the food and staff was not good. Totally...
