Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in London

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Papa John's in Wembley, and I must say, it was an absolute delight! From the moment I walked in, the aroma of freshly baked pizza filled the air, setting the stage for what turned out to be an extraordinary culinary experience.

The staff at Papa John's Wembley were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that my dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. Their professionalism and friendly demeanor added to the overall ambiance of the restaurant.

Now, onto the pizza itself - simply put, it was phenomenal! The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside yet delightfully fluffy on the inside, and the toppings were fresh and abundant. Each bite was bursting with flavor, leaving me craving for more.

In addition to their delicious pizzas, Papa John's Wembley offers a wide range of sides and beverages to complement your meal. I highly recommend trying their garlic cheese sticks- they are absolutely addictive!

First time we ordered in November it came nearly 2 hours late. I called to question why the delay and The manager offered a free pizza to prevent a negative review. The free pizza was ordered a fortnight later and arrived with the wrong topings. The third time we ordered they quoted a 2.5 hour delivery time based on limited drivers (excuse explained further below).

Today the order was placed shortly after 5pm and still had not arrived at 6.40pm. They said driver was on their way when we called an hour since the order was placed. Asked to speak to the manager, and the gentleman on the phone said that was not policy and would not give manager's name, suggested we write in and put it for the attention for 'The morning manager'.

Delivery arrived after 7pm and the driver explained that he had to deliver another order on the otherside of the area, and that orders were doubled up for delivery. So it appears this branch will deliberately delay your order so they can get multiple orders in the same area out in one go. Thats ok if they work fast but clearly it takes them ages to prepare one pizza.

Placed an order online at 9:30 pm this evening. Called at 10 pm to get an ETA and was told it would be there in 10 minutes. Waited until 10:45 pm and called again only to be told that they had tried delivering twice but couldn’t get in touch with me because I had an international number. Please note that I’m staying in a hotel so they could’ve asked reception to ring my room either time but they didn’t. When we called back they were trying to charge us for another delivery fee because of their two failed attempts at delivering. We said no to the charge bc they’d already taken over an hour to get us the food. We’re waiting in the lobby now at 11:12 pm to meet them so we can get our food bc we’re starving. We called again to find out what happened to them and were told it would be another 5-6 minutes. Not the normal level of customer service I’d expect from Papa Johns but I’m still hopeful our food will be here soon!

Update: it’s 11:32 pm and they never showed...
