The Clubhouse Ruislip — Restaurant in London

We are new to the area and we came to this venue on Saturday for some food and reserved a table for me and my partner 3 days beforehand for the fight night as we heard they have a big screen! I messaged via email to Iszi Bradley who I assume must be one of the owners he said the table was booked for us. We got there early for 5:30 and the table was booked for 6! We asked at the bar which one was reserved for us gave them my name they didn’t have a clue! Sat at one of the tables and one girl came over and said it was reserved for 20 people and sat us on a 4 seater table. We ordered food mine was nice although I did ask for chips 3 times and the food came out and I had no chips and the guywho took are order came over with the food and I said where are the chips he laughed and said ‘I didn’t hear you ask for chips!’ In that situation it’s very unprofessional to laugh and maybe sort the problem out and didn’t offer to bring the chips I asked for and no receipt either! One other guy who worked there came over and offered us plates and cutlery and asked if we needed anything else. he was very polite and I think was embarrassed for the guy who served us. My partner had lamb skewer which was freezing cold and chewy really bad!! Not only that the girl again came over and moved us to another table yet again! which were stools she said cause there is only 2 of us! We felt very unappreciated. Although she did offer us a free drink but we did end up leaving early we are customers and should be treated that way. I was going to hire this place out in June for my 30th after Saturday night I will not be returning...

Hosted a truly great event at this venue, the staff were friendly and accommodating and really went out of their way to try and help us with every one of our requests. A few teething issues but who doesn’t have those when it comes to organising a party for a 100+ people. Honestly very happy with the outcome, the bar was well stocked with a great variety, the venue was clean and the resident DJ worked alongside us and totally smashed the entertainment. Just had my event here, such a wonderful place! Great indoor & outdoor space, great packages with so much to offer. Their resident DJ is honestly the best! The staff are so friendly and accommodating and very flexible with your requests. Only criticism is that a few details were missed from our event like the promised plates & cutlery but luckily we had disposable ones in the car just in case so we bought those down as...
