rarely write reviews but feel incensed by the shocking food that this cafe tries to pass off as acceptable especially at their prices. Ordered a chicken escalope, cheese bacon escalope. What i received was 3 small nugget type bits of chicken, streaky fatty bacon, all for £4.60!! ABSOLUTE RIP OFF!! please choose one of the many other places to eat in Cheam

Lovely little village café. Separation screens between seats to facilitate social distancing. However soap was missing from the toilet but was supplied by the owner upon request. I loved the fact that they make freshly squeezed orange juice and their lovely vegan red velvet cakes. A must try. Owner is very friendly and welcoming.

Used to avoid this place because it didn’t look that nice from the outside and the branding. Shame on me. For sure the best breakfast spot in Cheam Village. Lunch items can be a little on the expensive side (Greek Salad is £12.50!?) so stick to the breakfast usuals and you’re sweet. ☕️

The food is nice, and the owner is always welcoming and polite nowadays. It can get very busy, and we sometimes struggle to get a seat. Weather has improved, so there's now some additional seating outside.

Update October 2023

Went there for lunch, me and the wife. Ordered two milkshakes and two paninis (£20+ 🤯). My wife ordered an Oreo milkshake and clearly had nuts in.

Luckily, she's not allergic to nuts. Imagine.

I spoke with the Asian lady and said we received the wrong flavoured milkshake. She stared at me, shrugged, and walked off!!? I thought maybe she would come back after speaking to her colleague. Did she? No.

Waited 5 minutes, and I had to go in and speak with the other lady behind the counter. I explained and also showed her my milkshake, which was a quarter empty. I said it tastes like peanut butter and asked why my milkshake was so much less but charged the same. Rude response and customer service from these two ladies were appalling.

We live in the village and now unsure if we would go back. Too much hassle for something that should be easily rectified.

Update for 2024 Two new ladies working the shop floor when we last went. Very polite and helpful. Miles better then the previous waitresses who were unhelpful, language barrier and rude. The waitress delivering the food to the table was great, friendly to us and our kids. Great job on hiring! And yes, we've been back since because of this!...

Went on a Saturday for a breakfast with the family for my birthday breakfast was very disappointed. sat down and drinks were served nice an quickly that we hadn't made our mind up yes on what to eat. For what i could see was there was five people working there from there on in we had to keep waving for attention for service as they all stayed behind the counter/kitchen. When the breakfast arrived Which took a long time to arrive it was not hot we then address that the beans were cold (as thats what we noticed was cold at the time) they were then taken away and popped into a microwave this did not correct the issue as the beans were still cold and now my eggs were fully cooked no more runny yolk. After continuing to eat the breakfast I noticed that the sausage was only look warm and the bacon was so over cooked and hard I could of used it as a hammer if I wanted to. I didn't find any of the staff that apologetic or friendly. We were then approached by a member of staff after they noticed we were finished to be told " can you go over to the counter and pay" it was the manner it was said that shocked me.

walked out really disappointed great way to...

Very disappointing service. I asked for a cooked English breakfast with egg weldone. I was served with egg looking weldone then when I cut in to it, the egg was running just what I specifically said I did not want. I called the attendant and informed her I asked for the egg to be weldone. My expectation was she will take the plate away, get me properly cooked eggs as requested and maybe change the plate with the running yoke. She used a tissue to take the egg out and left the rest of the cooked breakfast in the same plate and said to me they will bring new egg. The attitude. I asked her if she expected I ate from the same plate with the tissue cleaned yoke? After a few mins I asked to be given the bill, I paid for it and all the attendant said was sorry. Sorry because I will rather go hungry than to use Coffee Zone again. Went down the road to piggies who gave me a welcoming reception and a good service, listening to details and served the breakfast I paid for. Avoid...
