If you love your coffee, you’ve got to try The Common Espresso Bar. I’ve lived in Clapham for a couple of years now and found this place 18 months ago and it’s been my local ever since. I’m picky with my coffee (I like it strong) and had struggled to find somewhere that didn’t burn it or drown it with milk. This place gets it right every time! Keisy makes a fantastic coffee every time and Dienna is so friendly on the till - she even reminds me to collect my daily stamp (you get the 10th coffee free) It’s family run and honestly the best spot for coffee in Clapham!

This place is amazing. They make the best Flat Whites in the area - the milk is always perfectly foamy how it's supposed to be and the coffee they use is delicious. I've tried two of their brownies before, both times I didn't realise they were vegan until after I ate them and both times they were so good! Also great that they sell things like oat milk by the carton and the food selection is good too.

This small cafe has a cozy and inviting atmosphere, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a delicious cup of coffee. The coffee is exquisite and the food is very tasty, adding to the overall positive experience. Additionally, the location on the corner of the street with large windows allows for plenty of natural light to flood the space, adding to the bright and enjoyable ambiance.

The common Espresso bar is a is the hidden gem of Clapham. Keisy - owner /manager /barista / general badass (the list goes on) is the loveliest woman ever. She not only has the BEST coffee she also has amazing smoothies, juices, cakes and many other treats. She caters to all. She is so kind and has created a proper community feel. She always makes time to talk to everyone knowing everyone by name and remembering their orders. She not only makes coffee for people she pours them happiness and makes sure everyone leaves smiling. She is there personally 7 days a week. She also has amazing staff, a lovely man named Andrea is there on the weekends. He is lovely, polite and very sweet. Best coffee and hot chocolate in Clapham Common !

I've been here a few times with family casually and to pick up a big orders for the place I work at , the staff are friendly and well mannered, and were very accommodating and patient with me when I do bring big orders for a long work day ahead.

The cafe itself although small has a nice cozy and inviting atmosphere, and a modern yet contemporary look which is always nice, and is always clean !

Again the coffee and beverages in general are superb, and many of my colleagues can advocate for me on that.

The pastrys and treats are also great quailty.
