Read moreIt was the night that was spawned from the merge of Halloween and Diwali the night before, and witches must have cast their spells on The Devonshire Arms in Camden, London. This place hasn't changed for years, but it still has a vibe of London from the 80s. You can still find the same weirdos roaming around the place with dim lighting casting Iong shadows, sticky floors, and walls adorned with posters of legendary bands. The air's you feel is thick with a mix of anticipation and the smell of stale beer. The Dev has stories etched into its very foundation, and I am so glad it hasn't changed in so many years. There, Halloween witches have spawned that in The Dev will be the album launch party of Cutlass, new band on London Scene. A pure pirate metal with the rich warm guitar sounds, so nostalgic of the 80s with good, strong mix of heroic gallops and melodic riffs. Yes, there are pirates in London and Cutlass, that old sea dog have proven that last night. They have awakened the Kraken and are walking the plank of stardom right now. This band can punch so sweet and raw. They were welcomed by Kaine, a band that has been on the scene for quite some years and is true hope for me that British metal scene is coming back. They have futuristic medieval melody with action packed riffs and I have to praise the band how much they were supporting Cutlass album, honouring them through several songs intervals. It was amazing night, a perfect storm of quality metal with hyped crowd...

He gave us our drinks, didnt say anything just slammed them down (they were room temperature) and walked away, we were waiting for 5-10 minutes waiting to pay whilst we watched him standing and chatting to a co-worker. Another bar tender approached us asking if weâd been served, we said we were waiting to pay (we could have waked away at any point having not paid) and he reminded the ginger dread bartender who begrudgingly put the card reader down without saying anything or even looking at us. Bouncers are rude other than the lady bouncer who was alot nicer on the door. We had just bought a drink but wanted to leave after feeling uncomfortable, its like the staff dont want you to be there, many of them are unfriendly. its packed, no where to sit inside, smoking area you cant even walk into its so busy. We tried to leave, and my friend had bought a bottle of cider. One male older bouncer told her she couldnt leave with it and she must drink it in the smoking area where it was impossible to even stand in. She said she was struggling and needed to sit down somewhere, and was about to leave her drink (even though it was a bottle) when the nicer female bouncer offered us a plastic cup, which the male bouncer never offered and just wanted to enforce some authority onto not letting...
