Ive just had the worst experience and I really resent feeling the need to write this review. The initial issue was so so small and could have easily been resolved even if there was no solution.

I received a minimal amount of beans on my jacket potato. My friend had a pot and I didnt. I went to the bar and showed a girl my food, I said 'sorry I think they didnt give me enough beans' thinking she would say 'oops ill get some more' instead, she abruptly replied 'THATS PORTION SIZE' to which I replied 'Theres like 10 beans' and she said 'I think youre being over dramatic there's more than that', at this point I wondered what I was meant to say. I said 'I haven't eaten any yet and look' she said 'I can take it to the kitchen but they will just say the same as me', I cannot explain how rude she was to me. I replied 'id rather not send it back if thats the case' as many people wouldn't want to.

I asked if there's anything I can do, she was SO unwilling to help me I felt so confused. I said 'can I talk to the manager' and with a smile on her face she said 'I AM the manager' and I said 'and you aren't going to help me' she said 'youre being aggressive and rude' and I just simply wasn't, I was just wanting to eat my food.

She accused me of being rude, abusive and aggressive. I was out with my friend and her parents, I was embarrassed to even leave the table, yet I found myself in an argument with a girl about some beans.

I can whole heartedly say I wasn't rude, I did defend myself when I was being accused of being all of these things, I would appreciate it if you could review any available recordings or CCTV footage from that evening to clarify the situation. I cannot believe what im being accused of. I would be happy to provide times etc.

my friend came over and the girl ordered the bouncers to throw us out and actually said 'get rid of them' as if we were dogs. My friend currently cant talk and was with her service dog. We are respectable people who live around the corner and was enjoying our evening. We said my friends parents are here and she said 'they can leave too'. The security helped us and said there's another manager, the girl said there wasn't. Connor helped simmer down whilst we sat at the table. I found myself repeating the story and feeling totally attacked by the girl.

He refunded us our bill, but it seemed when he went to speak to the girl, he came back in a way that made it seem I was in the wrong. I have no idea what she said. but this absolutely cannot be the first time this has happened.

I left feeling SO confused. Please see photo, I didnt eat anything.

I dislike the idea of leaving a bad review for a whole venue due to one person, I would ask for appropriate communication regarding this and I would therefore be willing to take this down, but I cant leave a venue and...

I came here for a nice quick meal for a low price. This was just round the corner from where i went to visit in Camden so the convenience was there. I rarely have any issues at spoons around the country so was quite shocked to have had one here judging that this one looked much better than many i have visited before. I ordered a cheese garlic bread which in comparison to the normal garlic bread which i find it to be quite dry when i have had it quite a while in the past not as good and a cheaper item as there is no cheese on it. Having ordered the one with cheese, paying more, i was confused to find when it came to the table it was a plain one. Once a member of staff came over i questioned it as there was not an ounce of cheese anywhere to be found on it. To my shock, i got a very rude reply assuring me there was cheese on it when there quite clearly wasnt! it doesn’t take a scientist to figure that one out! I wasn’t best pleased being confronted on it basically saying im a liar for ordering something which didnt come correct after ordering it which is their issue not mine yet i felt in the wrong for this! eventually i got the correct food which was good don’t get me wrong but having to eat it whilst said member of staff was walking around near me after being very rude did put me off my food which wasn’t the most ideal thing here. Not all is bad as it’s a great location, nice interior and not too sure about the whole restaurant as i was fairly in and out so can’t comment on absolutely everything but it was all okay bar one member of staff hence the low review as its not very professional telling a customer that they are a liar when they are quite clearly in the right from the situation at hand. hopefully it is dealt with so other customers have a good experience here and don’t run into the...

My cousin is visiting London for the first time, he wanted try the famous fish and chip and a pint. I wanted something else from the market, we sat outside at the smoker's area, ordered two pints and my cousins meal, as soon as it arrived I took out a very small and discreet box with my meal and we were about to eat, all wonderful till this woman came and without a greeting or a excuse me, told us that she couldn't allow me to eat food from somewhere else. I explained to her that I didn't fancy anything from the pub that the idea was eating and then get more pints, she said she would have to ask me to leave, and I ask what about my cousin's meal and the pints, she said : he stays, you leave. At not point she try to explain herself or say sorry this are the rules, she just stood there and repeated, I'll will have to ask you to leave, this time looking at the security guy. I didn't want to to cause an scene because at that point everyone was looking at us and we were embarrassed. I would totally understand if we both bring supermarket bags with food or both meals were from the market but not if we were both consuming from the pub. I responded by saying, ok I'll have to eat this later and closed the small box, again, without even saying thank you or sorry about ruining your whole lunch, she walked away towards the security guy and then would walk around us in a threatening manner.
