Read moreI visited yesterday but I will never go again! The landlord / barman is very rude. Asking if he had sauvignon for my friend and the reply was "don't be stupid only got pinot" you realise even if its a joke how inappropriate that attitude is. Yes, I know its a beer place but most other micro pubs have a little wine choice for non beer drinkers so friends don't feel left out. There is a polite way to explain the 'limited' choice sadly it escaped this barman....
Read moreI love it when there's a cozy, homely atmosphere in a pub or ale house, and when they pour a little more than a pint into a pint glass, it definitely makes me want to leave a tip for the bartender and come back for another pint of beer in the coming days.
