It’s been a while since I was personally highly recommended by a friend to go to JK, the foodie in me couldn’t say no ….

The Ambiance was just right cause we were a gang of 9 lovely at time loud ladies. It was warm and welcoming and I would say that’s purely down to the staff who made us feel that way with their quick service ( thank god cause I was starving) and a smile.

Moving on to the drinks I had a Limca and a rum and coke … no issues there followed by some chaat - the pani puri was spicy for my pallet but filled with flavour so couldn’t stop myself and the pickled vada pav was a good twist to the original vada pav served on the streets of Mumbai.Almost forgot the momos was accompanied by this yummy chutney, delicious.

As I initially mentioned for a foodie that was just a start our mains included the fish tikka, lamb sheesh kebab , chicken curry, lamb curry and the chicken curry along with some Roomali roti….. I’m a lamb lover and I enjoyed the lamb dishes the lamb in the curry was cooked so well it was not hard or chewy.

After eating all that still had space for dessert so tried their Gulab jamuns which was served just like I eat them warm …..

I did speak to the Chef personally and gave my feedback on each item cause I believe Feedback is crucial but it’s also very different cause it based on peoples perception and everyone’s taste buds are different. In our chat when he got to know I’m from Goa, he surprised our group with a famous Goan sweet named bebinca which was warm and yummy and literally took me back home.

It’s embarrassing I have only 1 food pic cause I was just too busy hogging and yapping , but I would leave now by saying it’s definitely a place to go and explore and hope you enjoy the food and the place...

Jugaad Kitchen - A Culinary Gem in Welling I recently had the pleasure of dining at Jugaad Kitchen in Welling, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The restaurant’s ambiance, with its bare brick walls and cozy atmosphere, immediately sets the stage for a memorable meal. The menu is a delightful journey through the diverse flavors of India. From the tangy Bombay-style chaats to the freshly made curries, every dish is a testament to the authenticity and quality of the ingredients used. The newly introduced Indo-Chinese menu is a fantastic addition, offering a unique fusion of flavors that is both innovative and delicious. One of the highlights of my visit was the breakfast menu, available on weekends. The Indian chai was the perfect start to my day, and the variety of breakfast options ensured there was something for everyone. The service was impeccable, with the staff being both attentive and knowledgeable. They were more than happy to make recommendations and ensure that every aspect of our dining experience was perfect. Overall, Jugaad Kitchen is a must-visit for anyone in the Welling area. Whether you’re looking for a casual meal or a special dining experience, this restaurant delivers on all fronts. Highly...

Terrible service, and mediocre food. DO NOT book for special occasions, or for more than 4 people, you’ll be left super disappointed. Really unhappy with having booked a table for my mum’s birthday for 7 people months in advance, we arrived with them adding an extra seat to a table of 6, where 6 children wouldn’t have even been able to fit onto it. Absolutely ridiculous. They even called me an hour or two before to confirm our arrival. We stood around aimlessly for a good 15mins as they waited for people to leave to adjoin tables, when they could’ve asked the set of 4 to just move to the table behind to save the hassle. Not sure what the point of booking is if walk-in customers are given better tables and are prioritised. The food was also not up to scratch. As ‘compensation’ they offered a deduction of the service charge, (silly in itself) when we ordered way over £100’s worth. They made zero effort for mum’s birthday, not even a ballon, or a small dessert as an apology. Completely missed the mark with the food, and the customer service entirely. Not very great for ambiance either, left annoyed and...

Amazing food with a great treat to your taste buds ! I have been ordering from here recently after getting bored with the old curry house style food and was surprised by the authentic taste their food had . We also tried to dine in pretty recently after hearing about the amazing weekend breakfast menu and oh boy ! It made us feel nostalgic about the real authentic taste of our Indian food . The staff is amazing and make u feel home and take the feedback seriously which was impressive !. Special Mentions/Must Try ( though restricted as we are vegetarians ) - Starters - 1. Dahi Puri 2. Aloo Tikki Chaat . Curries - 3. Dal Bukhara 4. Paneer Makhni 5. Biryani 6. Roomali Roti Desserts - Kulfi

Went for breakfast this morning - open for breakfast on Saturdays ands Sundays. We started with Indian coffee and Chai. Both were delicious. We went at Saturday at 10:00 and sat inside. It wasn’t busy and the service was great. The only thing I would say is the waitress we had didn’t know what the dishes were, so I erred on the side of caution. The food was universally delicious. The bread with the Chloe Bhature was some of the best I have ever had. The Aloo Pratha was so yummy. The bacon Frenky had a decent amount of bacon. The bill was £27 including service charge. Would definitely return.

Tried Jugaad Kitchen today ( home delivery) . It was delivered within 30 minutes . This is what I think of the food Aaloo chaat 5/5. Perfect spice levels Jafrani Murgh ( grill) 5/5 very soft and flavour some Kaali daal ( dint order but they sent as taster) 4.5/5 Lamb curry 3/5 ( gravy was good but lamb was a bit tough) Cheese naan 4/5 So would definitely recommend Update 4th May 2025 Have been trying the breakfast few times and they always touch the right note. Be it Chhole bhature or poori sabji or Aloo paratha and others . Plus the staff are really nice and helpful .
