The Eclectic Collection — Restaurant in London

Disappointed with my most recent visit today. The staff seem very inexperienced and inattentive. I didn't want to sit outside because it's a hot day and I have a baby - as an alternative they sat me in "alley" in between their reception area and main conservatory which was filled with random pieces of furniture stacked up - it felt very dingy. I wasn't offered help to navigate my pram into the seating area they offered me. I then chose to move tables myself into the conservatory. The food I was served was made to look pretty... but the scrambled eggs were actually an omelette, the toast was cooked on on side and served without butter and one of my smashed avocado portions tasted foul / off. I had to get up from my table multiple times to ask for tap water (drinks weren't offered to me when I placed my food order)! I had to request butter for my toast + salt and pepper grinders. I reluctantly paid my bill today. I won't...

Really good spot for brunch and a coffee and cake break.

The cafe is very artsy and has beautiful interior with vases, artwork, blossom tree. French romantic interior with a twist. Toilets are also very clean and kept well.

The owners are there sometimes and very friendly an nice. They also have an app where you can collect points.

I have ordered their pancakes a few times and they are so delicious! Perfect consistency. IF you love fudge-like pancakes with lots of toppings this is the place. The berry pancakes come with nice spicy blueberry sauce, chocolate biscuit crumble and presented beautifully. If you like more savoury then they have amazing pancakes with bacon.

The English breakfast and other dishes are portioned at a good size too with very healthy and fresh ingredients.

They do a great range of 'superfood' lattest. Matcha is always fresh. They have cute spoons and cutlery for serving too.

I hired The Eclectic Collection for my 50th Birthday party. After visiting several different venues locally it was the best option because they let me have the whole place rather than having to share the venue with the public (if more than 40 people) and a reasonable minimum spend compared to some other places. It comfortably accommodated 60 guests. Rampton and Ramona were great in the run up discussing all the details and managed things really well on the night. The canapés and birthday cake were delicious. It was a hot night and it was air-conditioned. The garden was popular!

They also do really good coffee, brunch and an interesting blind tasting menu on Friday and Saturday nights, for just £18 for 3 courses. It was fun guessing all the flavours we had eaten!!
