The Gurkha Naan Nepalese and Indian Restaurant — Restaurant in London

Oh my days, if you love Indian food, you NEED to visit this place! Every single dish was absolutely FULL of flavour. I was so excited to eat that I forgot to take pictures 😅 Everything on the menu sounded so appetising, it was hard to choose what to have. In the end, I went with the chicken jalfrezi and the Gurka naan which was just amazing together. I was with my husband, my sister and her husband and between us we had so many dishes (I can't remember the names of everything) and they all came steaming hot and perfectly spiced. The service was excellent - our waiter was very attentive and kind. Also, the chef was so lovely. He came over to our table to ask if we were enjoying everything and had a nice conversation with us. Because we were so complementary, they gave us a complimentary dessert which was beautiful. We will 100% be coming here and bringing our family along with us. Please...

An outstanding restaurant in all regards. We made the booking last minute and it turned out to be a great decision. Our first impression was that it is an immaculate restaurant decorated to an extremely high standard. We were greeted by beautifully presented courteous and attentive staff. The menu is comprehensive and authentic with some lesser known regional choices, quite superb. Just before the food arrived, our warmed plates were brought to the table which was an excellent display of attention to detail which runs through all aspects of this impressive and welcoming restaurant. Every dish served was delicious, at the end Chef even came to our table to check if we liked food and if we have any feedback which is great.

We have been to Gurkha Naan a few times since its been open. The Owner and chef Bishnu is a really nice man he comes out and will personally greet every table and even make specal dishes for customers to try. The staff here are just as amazing and considering how busy they are they manage to serve everyone really quickly with a smile there is no real wait for service that I received or saw. The food itself is not typical curry house food with some unique Nepalese dishies which are nicely balance. and big portions. I really hope they continue they way they are going and become go to restaurant in Purley. Myself and my family will be visiting again and hope to try some more unique dishes. A lot of restaurants have lost the personal touch but this place with Bishnu is reintroducing that personal touch. Thank you for making it a very specal meal for myself...
