The Iron Horse — Restaurant in London

"HIDDEN ROCK JEM" I walked out of the train station on my way to my hotel for an unexpected early night. I saw the bar promising rock goodness and decided to have a quick drink. Long story short, I ended up spending the rest of the evening there listening to some great tracks, curated by the staff. Somehow it turned a good night into a great night.

Now maybe it was the bar staff that made the evening fun? Blonde Bubbly and short (sorry) Chip and long haired Primo were great. A rock bar with staff that seem to have a real passion for music? That definitely made the night. Having interesting conversations about Johnny Cash or a ska version of Hotel California....

I NEVER knew this pub existed even though I've driven thru Sidcup a million times! Well, I'm glad I've found it now. My daughter was invited to sing with the band "The Spiders from Sidcup" at the recent Sidcup Calling music festival on Bank Holiday May 2023. What a venue!! An amazing place for live music of all genres. Nice and spacious with an outdoor area. They do food, but we didn't have any, but saw lots of folk enjoying theirs. Staff are friendly and the bar prices are excellent. Landlord John is very nice and accommodating. Definitely...

Probably one of the finest music venues in the whole of London, and the best in the local area by a landslide. The pub has an incredibly welcoming atmosphere, the regulars create a vibe where everyone knows each other without it being even slightly territorial. The landlady Julie and the staff are truly passionate and have continuously supported and encouraged our local music community non-stop through thick and thin. Honestly so grateful for this...
