Hi all. This is my favourite pub in Barnet. The problem with gastro-style pubs is that, not only do the prices inflate, but also the people tend to sit on their own in little cliques. As result, you never get to meet anyone new. This is not the case with the King's Head. It is open-planned and people can sit at the bar and talk to anyone they choose. They do not serve food, but, with permission, you can bring in food if you wish and eat at the bar or at a table. There is a juke box and a pool table and a good selection of lagers and spirits...
The landlord is a very welcoming man and a good friend of mine; there are also a huge number of my friends who frequent this bar - there are so many I cannot list list them all.
