God Almighty what a scary pub this turned out to be! A huge mountain of a man was fast asleep at the counter next to his drinks snoring away while another was a bit too drunk to engage me in a civil interaction suggesting we 'take it outside' if I had a problem. I'd barely set foot in the door and this is what greeted me! I'll definetely give this place a try again and hope the experience is better. I always give a place a second chance, but I'm already shuddering at...

Me and my girlfriend ordered some food on Deliveroo from The Lamb. I ordered a mixed grill and my girlfriend had a burger and all of the food was outstanding. Definitely the best mixed grill I’ve ever had. Great portion size and delicious. My girlfriend loved the burger and even the chips were great. It was my first time eating from the Lamb but it will be the first of many. That’s for sure. I tip my hat to the chef....

I'm so glad I decided to give this pub a try. It’s a true locals’ spot, yet it has that cosy, welcoming warmth you’d expect from old-style boozers, a rare find these days. If you’re after a simple, no-nonsense ‘me time’ over a pint, with some friendly chit-chat and banter with the locals, you really couldn’t do better than this place. A real gem of a pub and I’ll definitely be returning...
