Kulcha Express® Southall The Green — Restaurant in London

This place is famous for amritsari kulcha but doesn't taste any where close to the real deal. I have eaten the real kulcha from amritsar and it is so delicious that the leftover chole(s) can also be eaten with paronthas the next day. Last time when i went to punjab before covid, I brought few back in my luggage.

Please stop ruining the good name of 'Amritsari Kulcha'. I have tried to make chole after looking at YouTube videos and still they tasted better than what I bought.

I felt deceived with the adverts on radio saying it is the real deal. Please stop using name 'Amritsari' and just call them normal kulcha. My family had the same opinion and felt wasted money on expensive meal comparing to price and quality.

Kulcha was a soggy naan bread with filling and appeared to be cooked on tava rather than tandoor. My star is based on ruining the beloved name and taste of the real homeland kulcha.

FYI- Also tried chicken and veggi pizza on different ocassions and it is also horrible, so I have decided not to visit them at all.

I have also learned recently that they make and sell indian sweets in sister branch Apna Pind restaurant in Southall. Besan Barfi is one of my likings and sometimes it tastes as best it can be and melts in the mouth. Recently it has started to have the essence and taste of sabzi masala. I would give it a 0. My order half fulfilled, cold food, leaking everywhere. I called and specially to ask for utensils and some tissues but nothing was there. Do not order from this place. Although they refunded my order when I specifically called you and asked you to include items why was that not done?. You send my order freezing cold and expected me to eat that. And you said to order a can of coke for £3 and pay delivery and service so I could get another one. Completely disappointed and disgusting behavior.

Aslo bear in mind you guys do not have an option to 'add utensils or add a note'. I called especially to ask you cant even follow simple instructions. As of your coke I wasn't going to pay for delivery and service charges so I had to contact uber because you guys were useless and a normal colleague acted like a manger and thought I wouldn't recognise. I had not processed the refund and the people said that order a coke and we will do that. Im not stupid to pay service charges and delivery...

Ordered over the phone...first of all the person taking the order cant understand a word of english. Finally got there after repeating my order several times and him admitting to forgetting what I had just said! Pathetic anyways apparently my food was to be ready in 5 minutes?

But the icing on the cake when I got there...no order and I had to wait more than 5 minutes. When questioned the young arrogant rude lady has said ok just a couple of minutes...ok I can wait. Still nothing a few minutes later. When asked again...shes more than happy not to provide the food and just give my money back...she told the kitchen to not bother.. well they hasn't even tried to fry the items in question. She then gives me my money back..and shouting at the top of her voice with customers eating in the restaurant. Telling me to go when all I was explaining that I cannot wait this long which is why I ordered ahead. Rude no...
