A Dream Wedding at Milan Palace : An Unforgettable Experience
I am thrilled to share my incredible experience with team and service at Milan Palace southall , where I celebrated my brothers wedding. From start to finish, our journey with Milan Palace was nothing short of exceptional, and I can’t express enough how perfect everything turned out to be.
The lead-up to our wedding was made remarkably smooth and stress-free thanks to the extraordinary support we received Haji Ahmad Jaan. His professionalism and dedication were apparent from the very beginning. Haji Haroon's attention to detail, unwavering support, and ability to foster genuine relationships with our family and friends truly set the tone for an amazing wedding planning experience. He ensured to communicate with us throughout the entire process, ensuring that we were always informed and reassured. His thoughtful guidance made everything easier, and we felt completely at ease knowing we were in such capable hands. Their hard work was evident in every aspect of the day; they managed every detail with grace and efficiency. Their commitment to making sure that everything went smoothly allowed us to fully enjoy our wedding without a single worry.
The venue itself was everything I had dreamed of and more. The venue’s beauty is unparalleled, and it has been my dream venue since the first time I laid eyes on it. The elegance and grandeur of the space provided the perfect backdrop for our celebration, and our guests were in awe of its stunning decor and ambiance.
One of the standout features of my brother's wedding was the in-house catering provided by Milan Palace . From the food tasting day to the actual event, the catering was nothing short of perfection. Our guests couldn't stop praising the food, claiming it was the best wedding cuisine they had ever experienced. The menu featured a delightful blend of unique and traditional dishes, from sweets like jalebi The Fish was a huge hit, offering a fun and interactive dining experience that everyone loved. The welcome drinks were a refreshing and elegant touch that set the tone for the evening. And let’s not forget the desserts—presented like a work of art and tasting as delicious as they looked. I’ve even had friends and family reach out to ask for some of the amazing recipes!
Additionally, the staff at Milan Palace were incredibly helpful with setting up the tables and organizing the favors. Their meticulous attention to detail ensured that everything was arranged beautifully, adding an extra layer of elegance to our celebration. The staff at Milan Palace also took impeccable care of us and our guests. Read moreWe booked Milan Palace for a joint party and paid a deposit of £1,000 before checking them out properly and tasting the food. They informed us that they don’t offer food tasting but we are more than welcome to come on a particular date they have an event to taste the food - so we did. We were not greeted by anyone but instead carted off into a small box like back office by the car park security staff and asked to wait. We waited about 10 minutes until waiters started entering and placing food dishes on a very small square table. They placed about 6 different dishes, plates spoons, napkins, coke cola, water and glasses on the small table and office desk before walking out and closing the door. We still had not been greeted or properly spoken to at this point and were just left to it so we cracked on and started tasting the food. Firstly, it was cold. Secondly, the oil in the two curry’s was overpowering and damn right disgusting. It was drowning in oil. The peas were uncooked in one of the curry’s and the potatoes in another dish were so hard it didn’t seem like they’d been cooked at all. Overall, the food was not what you’d expect for £37 per plate. Anyhow, I had to call the number from their website to ask the manager to come and speak with us. He came, we expressed our disappointment, he offered us another date to come and food taste. We accepted it originally but then after discussing our experience that evening we weren’t happy with the unprofessionalism and excuses - one of which was “Punjabi food is meant to be oily”. Anyway, we returned the next day to ask for our deposit back and cancel the booking- we were treated like idiots by the Manager Ahmad and basically told to come back the following day and speak with the person who took our booking. We returned the following day and after a lot of time wasting and back and forth we managed to get £700 out the £1,000 deposit back. We never signed any paperwork, the whole thing was so unprofessional and upsetting. I do not recommend this place purely down to the disgusting oily food and...
Read moreAttended a wedding party today, on 23.04.2023. The first impression when entered the hall and took a seat on a messy chair , was like-expect some ‘surprises’. And here you go- after sitting for an hour no even snacks were served! So lucky to come later than it was mentioned on invitation! Anyways, we came from quiet far away so after we’ ve complained a small plate of chuttney came - 6 people sitting at table! And nothing else for another half an hour! That was the weirdest moment in our party life! We just had hope that if some food arrives , somebody else could serve- not the same girl with long dirty nails again….we became less interested in food in here and Started to think of some take always near by…. But we’ve got served with snacks….at nearly 3, when the party had to start at 12! It was explained as more parties are in the palace and short of staff! Such a shame! The glasses were coming Limited- when you ask for them you get only 4- with 4 Adults and 4 kids sitting at the table- its ok, we share, kids can have their drinks tonight in vine glasses….though i didnt understand what vine glasses were left for as no vine was served…. Snack and Main food was nearly the same- it looked like what was left from snack time was little bit coated in some oil and sauce and heated up …. Same chicken, chickpeas, meat - maybe lamb- didnt dear to try….nothing really appetizing! When asked for coffe- a gigantic thermos was dropped on the table with the label ‘green tea’ - cups of course came much later….and here you go- serve yourself dear ladies! 😁 The way of serving food and drinks was really weird - the serving girls looked exhausted , such sour faces, not happy- I shortly forgot that i am at the wedding…. Overall, everything looked so unorganised and unprofessional, I really felt sorry for those who booked a party in there and expected it to be a pleasant stay. My first time in there and I would never recommend to anyone. There is a lot to think and make some action plan....
