The Maypole — Restaurant in London

The landlord of this pub is the most rudest man you could ever meet. He treats people with such disrespect and bad language. I briefly for 2mins used his car park to deliver a parcel to his neighbour because I didn't want to block the road for other drivers and the language he used against me and the way he treated me was disgusting.

I would like to assure customers there are many other pubs close by who can service you and treat their fellow people as humans beings who are trying to make a living with respect and courtesy.

PS just for everyone's attention I was there for no more than 3 mins and the pub was not even open at that time.

I am not telling a fib and would appreciate not being called a liar. It is possible the person who spoke this way is an employee of yours as he was opening up your store. He was a short big guy who parked inside with a women which is why I said I assumed he was a landlord. It means he's your employee.

Secondly I don't run this route every day and so you didn't speak to me. This is only my second time doing this route and first time I briefly parked there. Just to be clear even after your employee spoke rudely to me I apologised again to him twice if my parking upset him and he continued to swear aggressively at me. The Maypole is beautifully refurbished, new Management are a great team and asset to this pub. It is a traditional, warm and comforting vibe inside and outside. Their beer garden has a fantastic, warm and secure setting. The new menu and food is delicious! The amount of food you get for the price you pay is unbeatable and their selection of beer, cider, soft drinks and snacks are excellent. There are also 'cosy corners' if you fancy a first date there, a juke box to enjoy any music taste and live Sky sports on several TVs to choose from. They have a pool table too just to top off the enjoyment of the night! First time we had Sunday lunch in here and the food was excellent. Unfortunately, our experience was spoiled by a group of regulars at the bar who were so noisy and loud with shouting and piercing laughter that went right through you that you could not have a conversation. Even the barman and barmaid were joining in with them. I like to see people enjoying themselves but this was ridiculous and I feel that the bar staff should have asked them to tone it down a bit as people were eating.
