This is not a hotel it’s a Lebanese Restaurant. I am still shocked at how this place has this many 4* reviews since this food is painfully average. We ordered a mix grill, chicken schwarama, lamb arayes. The meat itself was so tough and not juicy at all and needed huge amounts of sauce to mask the flavour. The garlic sauce didn’t even have any hint of garlic in them. The only decent sauce was the chilli sauce. The mutton kebab and shish were too dry and the salad was plain with no dressing or freshness. Not recommend at all. Update: Owner replied saying that half of the items I listed in my review isn’t even on the menu. So what do you call this?

Average food. Salad which accompanied my chicken dish was old and limp. Rice was awful - dry and boring. In fact the whole dish was a let down. They put a load of cheap garlic type mayonnaise on top of the dish which dragged it down even more!! Dreadful standard and it shouldn’t be difficult to ensure fresh and vibrant food is served. Food was bland and sub- standard. There seemed to be no joy when serving the food. Total disappointment- will not be going back.

I didnt give 5 star beacuse its Michelin fine dining BUT because its a cosy, charming, friendly local business. Theres some lunch time bargain deals, including a starter, wrap and drink combo which was fresh,tasty and filling. Service was great and they were really accommodating about 2 of the 4 of us being vegan (there's options). Located accross from Mile End Park you can eat in or grab a takeaway and enjoy if in the sun (while it lasts)

If I could leave zero starts I would. The food was cold, as if the meat had been sitting there for hours, the potatoes, were oily and slimey and when I called the manager , Ali, he said they are not supposed to be crispy although they are deep fried, well they are the worst potatoes I have ever tasted in a Lebanese restaraunt. There was no sauce for my entire meal, and it costs £30, ali says they charge for sauce , wow! I will never order from this place again and ali the manager didn’t give a toss because he knows people will still go there to eat, waste of money and awful food and awful service, oh and there was no fresh salad it came with cheap tinned /pickled veg, that has no taste and the bread was a sloppy mess, I can’t believe this...

One of the worst place I have ever eaten in. Food portion was extremely small and tasteless. For the portion of 2 people I paid £24. Unbelievable, I should have instead went into some chicken and chips shop and had a full course meal only for £3. Please save your money and go to a better place where the food is great and portion is generous aswell. I give this place 0.5 star. It doesn't even deserve 1 star. Even free charity food places give more nicer food.

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID & AVOID this place at all cost as they'll rip you off big time with overcharged food which is poor in quality, make you wait ages, serve you tiny portion of food giving you diarhea aswell. I'm thinking of informing the food...

We went here at 6.30pm on Saturday to eat with a group of friends of adults & children. When we arrived, our friend was already there and had already ordered practically EVERYTHING off the menu. Meat, fish & Vegetarian main dishes , hot & cold Meze. It was delicious. We were the only people in here initially and were made to feel like special guests with the service we received. The kids just did their own thing (including eating loads). I had an Avocado milkshake that was to die for. The place is clean, the service and food were FAB - (don't know about the price as we didn't pay for the meal our lovely friend paid for everyone), but I will DEFINATELY be...
