We had a brilliant time, fab service, huge menu. Sport on TV. Food was outstanding, if you want your desi fix! Lovely Naan's, hot and tasty ๐ All the grills were exceptional. Lamb Chops ๐ Mixed Grill ๐ POW Grill ๐ช All the elements within are well spiced, cooked and tasty. The issue is there is so much food, so don't over order or you will be taking it home for later, as a mixie is never as good once it starts going cold. The menu is massive and there was no London pricing uplift, for those who are connoisseurs of Midlands Desi Punjabi pubs, pricing is the same if not cheaper ! There is no onsite parking and being Southall, parking is tough but in the side streets you will eventually find a spot. Excellent overall ๐

On initial view this is a very basic pub. However, the lamb chops are juicy, with an Indian spice mix that is not too spicy with extra garlic coming through. The lamb is tender and the fat cooked to perfection with bits that are charred from the tandoor. My cousin recommended this place just for that. However, also had the Chicken Bhuna and Nan as recommended by the barman. The former had a great tomatoe sauce again with the right amount of Indian spice - absolutely delicious. The latter was thin and soft just how it should be, so you are not getting full on the bread. Highly recommend this place for the lads.

We had a rather disappointing experience with both the service and the food at this restaurant. Despite ordering Masala Paneer, we were served Butter Paneer. When we brought this to the staff's attention, they refused to acknowledge the mistake. As a result, the Butter Paneer tasted overly sweet and lacked flavor. The Tarka Dal, while tasting good, was not what I would consider traditional Tarka Dal as it contained chana dal. The staff seemed inattentive and relied on their poor and short-term memories, which was frustrating. Personally, I wouldn't recommend this place to families.

I am the biggest Indian mixed grill fan and must eat it at least 2 times a week from various places from Midlands to South London. The pub is quite basic and has your ordinary punters, with little to very few females, so probably not a place I would think to bring the Mrs. But........... The mixed grill was one of the best I've eaten..... Wow The sheik kebabs were soft and tasty, lamb chops tender and large on the bone, chicken fresh, just great. I didn't have any other food, but if you're looking for a mixed grill to beat all, this is the one 1โฃ

An ex Southall boy returning to his roots for a day wouldnโt be complete without a mixed grill at the Prince of Wales. It was like Iโd never been away, the aromatic smell on our approach and a great friendly atmosphere accompanied by a genuine warm welcome from the team. I brought along some family members and they were not disappointed and commented that it was a 10/10 for the food. No doubt there will be many a return visit for them too.

Canโt beat a mixed grill from here, so good! We ordered 2 mixed grills with masala chips, garlic naans and a chicken bhuna. They have some of the best mixed grills and Iโve tried a lot! The masala chips are a personal favourite as well, this is a local staple and a must visit. I would highly recommend, good atmosphere and a nice local. Also a good selection of beers and they show the football with plenty of seating around.
