We had a hell of an evening here over the weekend. Initially we sat down for a couple of pints. The rugby world cup games and then England's football game ensured the crowd was buzzing. There's enough space outdoors with screens and live music. The staff are quite friendly. Honestly me and my buddy were so buzzed we didn't care much about food. Definitely coming again soon.

Just stopped for a sunday roast with wife and daughter. I had the roast beef. She had the chicken. They heated up our daughters pre-prepared for us which was a big hit. Service was excellent. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Roast was large, filling and very nice. Outside seating was lovely on a day like it was today. Definitely will be coming back.

Friendly local pub, great vibes, nice size garden. Not serving food, good choices for drinks. Friendly staff.

I had the misfortune of ordering a steak sandwich. I was asked how I would like my steak, 'medium rare' I replied. The barmaid brought out the cutlery and sauces. I was horrified, the cutlery was filthy. Dried food smeared all over it. Not a great start. After almost an hour of waiting for my delicious piece of medium rare steak in a sandwich (obviously in a decent piece of bloomer or ciabatta) I was produced with a few pieces of dried steak strips, smothered with cheese, in a two slices of cheap bread that had gone hard (probally due to microwaving the 'sandwich' to melt the cheese or leaving the cheap white bread to the elements). Apparently the 'sandwich' was to come with a dressed garnished salad. The salad (undressed) consisted of one ring of red onion, one slice of tomato and one leaf of baby gem lettuce. I could not bring myself to eat it. It was utterly horrendous. After asking for a refund as my food was untouched because of the unedibility, the 'cook' came back out with said food, slammed it down on my table and was so rude I could not believe it. She told me I would get no refund 'just because you dont like it' and stormed off. I couldnt believe it. It was like an episode from Ramseys Kitchen nightmares. If only Gordon was there. He would of thrown it at them. The owner then appeared at the bar from upstairs, hair everywhere as if she had just rolled out of bed (3:30pm). Telling me I was not getting a refund and that the dried microwaved steak slices were perfectly ok and that the bread was not in fact stale (and oh my gosh it was so stale). She came to this conclusion by poking her dirty finger on it. I got no refund or edible food. I left hungry and £6.45 lighter. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. My advice. . . . Return the pool table and...

10 of us had our work Christmas lunch here, and had to pay a deposit and select our food choices 2 weeks ahead. We rang an hour or two beforehand to make sure everything was OK, and were told it was. However, upon arrival in the restaurant we were informed that one of the starter choices (chicken liver parfait) and one of the desserts (Christmas Pudding, believe or not!) were NOT available, so some of us had to quickly make other selections. The Christmas menu options were fairly limited, so to have such a high percentage of them unavailable seemed very disappointing.

The food was generally tasty, but service was very slow, and we appeared to be the ONLY people in the restaurant area having Christmas lunch for the entire time we were there. We were not even offered coffee or mince pies at the end of the meal, despite sitting there for a long time after our desserts. Even if they weren't included in the festive menu price (which is a little unusual, compared with all the places we have been in previous years), we were effectively ignored from the dessert point onwards.

This is the closest establishment to our place of work to have had a Christmas lunch, and this is our first visit. Based on today's experience, I am afraid I could not recommend another visit next year. Even the music being played was just standard pub hits (Adele, etc.) without even one hint of a...

I was liking this pub until my partner was accused of being a troublemaker in this pub. When he's never been a troublemaker in his life in this pub and when we went there yesterday, he hasn't been there for nearly 2 months.🥴🤔🤔🤔🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

So IM really shocked of the service and the attitude of the manger 🤬

Ano only that yesterday I went into the pub and she was so rude to me I would avoid going to this pub about 3 years ago and she still holds a grudge for no reason just because🤔🤔🤬🤬🤥

I was a bit rude because she was rude the manager embarrassed me in front of everyone and my family not gonna lie carry on the way you're going and never gonna come in your shit no good pub enymore and believe me most of my friends go in your pub and trust me if you don't want to get on the wrong side of me because they are not going in your pub I've told them now that you're really rude everyone else is the same thing change your Goddamn attitude because it stinks and I won't be speaking to you next week also treating me like a child the way she spoke to me wow like ain't happening take care because your pub is going down now none of my friends want to go there all my family have a good day and there's other people have complained on your website about how rude you are and making people buy drinks...
