I’ve always wanted to try this café because of the great reviews, and it did not disappoint! The café is in a beautiful park setting, and the food and drinks are fantastic. The staff are incredibly kind, they take the time to chat with customers, especially local elderly visitors who come alone, which is so thoughtful, especially in todays world where everything is so fast. The cafe is small but surprisingly, they have very good homemade cakes. Always try to get a piece with a hot coffee when visiting this park. I would recommend the courgette and lime cake. They also serves simple salad, pasta dishes and sandwiches if you fancy something savoury, but I have never tried myself, given the fact I always stuffed myself with cake... oh they could also warm up some types of cakes and serve them with sour cream, yum. A sign needs placing from the main road to this place, as it is totally oblivious from an outsiders perspective that this place is even here..

On trying the soup of the day (Mexican Pinto Bean), I'd have to say what a absolute joy; exactly what the doctor ordered in this freezing weather! Definitely be back at least once a week for the soup of the day #delicious 🤤
