The Rose Battersea — Restaurant in London

I happened to walk past this pub and seen it had been renovated. The outside seating area was lovely and such a sun trap, I loved the fairy lights outside, a great touch. I was impressed with such a good wine list for a pub.

When we looked at the menu, we seen they did a set lunch for £10, I had to look twice as this price is unbelievable. I opted for the bangers and mash, everything about this meal was perfect.  The Cumberland sausages were juicy and full of flavour,  the mash was so creamy, the onion rings were the right amount of batter vs onion and finally the gravy, you can tell this is made in house. It was full of flavour and just topped the meal off.

It was a perfect ambiance both inside and out.

I’m definitely going to try the the Sunday lunch which I think will be great fun as they have a live singer. This pub  is just what’s needed In the area

Poor attitude when seeing I have a mobility issue and ignored me while serving others that arrive after me and more than once. First visit I witnessed owner calling out to staff to hurry up and get out there to earn money while ignoring me waiting to order. I just asked if they are showing football tonight and was spoken to with massive disrespect and told its not on tonight but on Sunday. I corrected who I believe to be the manager telling him it is the women playing and he laughed and said No, then continued to laugh at the idea of women's football while talking to security. Rose Battersea is a proper hidden gem just a short stroll from Battersea Park and the river. It’s got a chilled, welcoming vibe that makes it perfect for everything from casual drinks to a full-on meal with friends. The food is seriously tasty, the cocktails are top-notch, and there’s a great selection of cold beers to choose from.

In the warmer months, the front and back gardens are where it’s at - great atmosphere, loads of space, and perfect for soaking up the sun. The staff are always friendly, attentive, and really add to the relaxed feel of the place.
