Not been here for quite a while, the menu was a let down, not great when half the menu is missing, and you cannot even do me a Hunters Chicken without the cheese, and i thought it was an add on? Why was i refused it no cheese , honestly baffled, and very lazy, the southern fried chicken was sub standard . It is a shame i cannot sit in the same place as previously, so many pubs need changes made to them a disabled toilet, a pub thats mostly accessible and more than 1 entrance, and you do not think we have not got money to spend, how wrong, if pubs are not accessible and i have to put up with people playing snooker right by me, oh whats the point of the tv on the wall when the lights over the table are blocking my view, and the tv down the other end is too far away . Next time i have trouble with ordering , i will seriously consider walking out ( Quite Pathetic not being able to do me a Hunters Chicken ,without CHEESE, at a pub near me i have no trouble whatsoever taking away items i do not want) Very lazy , and bad...

Just popped in here to day after finishing work , let’s just say without all the details , the manager in my opinion , rude and sarcastic, in fact no , I was at the bar first in the que as it were , some body got served before me no big deal , then came the sarcasm asthenosphere guy served me , stating it would only take a minute , and if I had time , Then gives me a Stella in a fosters glass , which I complained that it doesn’t taste the same , and I should have been asked , To which he replied , that if I knew anything I would know that fosters have the best widgets, I complained again unless asked I shouldn’t be just given any glass instead the correct one , he offered to change it but not for a Stella glass , I declined, To which he said just go into the garden and drink your beer, Really I’m not happy , Luckily I let it go , But this guy needs to retrain as customers Deserve to be spoken to with respect , Yes they are not always right , But this guy has too much to say for himself That is becoming of a public...

I had booked online for dinner at 7.15 for 4 people. I turned up at 7.15 with those people to be told that there was a mess up with the booking and the management didn't know of our booking and there were no longer any tables left... only outside. I explained it was a dinner reservation for an anniversary so eating outside was not appropriate as it was freezing. We were turned away. We found another place to eat and returned to the Tally Oh at 8.50 to have one drink. I spoke to the same bouncer in good humour to say let us in for simply a drink now that we've had to eat elsewhere, he went to check with the manager. He returned and I was absolutely stunned to be told no. He said last orders were at 9.30 (as I've said we arrived at 8.50 to get a drink in) and I said given the circumstance of how badly they messed up we just want a quiet drink and will be away before 10. Nope said the manager. Honestly, disgusted. Turned away 4 customers on TWO occasions for dinner and drinks... even though I had a reservation. I won't...

Rudest bar tender ever. When cleaning the table, she wiped all the ash on my boyfriends lap, then messed up our order by not telling the kitchen to remove the cheese from my boyfriends burger (whose lactose intolerant). When we asked for it to be remade she scoffed loudly and walked away, 30 seconds later she brought it back and we saw the cheese was scrapped off the chicken - the kitchen didn’t remake it and expected a cold burger with cheese still on it to be okay to give even though it’s an allergen. We asked the waitress to speak to the manager and she never even told her what was going on, so we had to go up to the bar after waiting 10 minutes to request to speak to the manager who sorted out our requests. It’s sad because I really do enjoy coming here but the service is so bad recently I can’t deal with it anymore. New staff is needed 100%.

At over £3 for a soft drink I would call this more Tally Go (as in leave)) than Tally Ho! But Mummy Debra was in one of her blast from the past moods and Hadn't set foot in this pub for around 30 years. The pub has a few seating areas but the upstairs was roped off. It was thankfully quiet on this occasion but one imagines it would be full when the sports are televised. The staff was welcoming of a talking teddy bear and a crazy woman wandering around photographing it. There is an outdoor seating area but I imagine, being sandwiched between the north and southbound roads, that it would be a touch on the loud and polluted side for Mummy! Looking at the menus and review photos it's not a gastropub affair but just standard pub grub. It's dog friendly with dog biscuits.

Absolutely loved this place. The flavors are so authentic, it reminded me of my trip to India. The chicken tikka masala was creamy, flavorful, and paired perfectly with their fresh garlic naan. The samosas, bhajiya and potato vada were crisp on the outside, full of perfectly spiced potato and peas inside. Our server (Shraddha) was super friendly and gave great recommendations. The portions were generous, and everything tasted freshly made. The restaurant is cozy but still feels classy, and the music adds to the atmosphere. We ended with dessert which was the sweetest finish to a perfect meal. Will definitely be telling my friends about this spot.
