Have walked past this place numerous times and ordered delivery a few times but as we had family down we decided to eat in and we are glad we did. Firstly it's a smallish place but plenty of table space and a really nice design inside. It was very busy as it was a Saturday night but we got a seat fairly quickly for a table for 6. Let's start with the most important thing for me and that's the service, the service here was brilliant everybody cared and went above and beyond to provide a great service even taking the time to play with my niece and make a fuss over her which made her night. Now on to the food we had a mix of starters alot of different cheese dishes some I didn't even know I ordered and then a big bowl of salad and these were all brilliant the highlight being the spicy feta which was baked in silver foil and was absolutely full of flavour 1 of the best I have had. For mains we got the family platter and some other bits and pieces but the family platter was the star. Pork belly, sausage, pork and chicken gyros, pork and chicken skewer and the cheese filled meat thing (forgot the name) alongside I am sure some other bits but it was great all full of flavour and the pork belly was great cooked to perfection. Honestly they do great food and great service so you can't go wrong to try it out and eat in for the full experience at a...

Place looked welcoming and modern so I was optimistic. I should've been far more selective as it turns out.
Ordered the lamb skewer wrap to take-away. It looked good in the restaurant but (the clue should've been that) the guy making it didn't seem to have any idea.
When I got home, lamb was semi-cooked with worrying slightly raw inside (this is rawer than blushing pink which anyway I don't expect from a high st takeaway). Also stringy and I am going to guess "not that fresh". The taste wasn't good and the raw, lamb-ey smell made me gag.
There was a nasty after-taste to the chips which I am going to put down to "failure to change the oil".
I see some positive reviews from people but I believe the place is struggling and hence cheap-skating on serving food that needs to be chucked out. Employing chefs that can't cook meat properly (extremely bad for a kebab house) and carelessness or laziness.
Bottom line, I...
Read moreHorrible, undercooked, tasteless chiken for a whopping £20. I can state that I'm not a fussy person at all and hate to waste food but it went straight to the bin. Most terrible experience I ever had in Finchley restaurants.
Dear Owner, You do not need to agree with me, I'm telling my honest opinion. The picture talks for itself. You might have high standards but unfortunately not today. If you were in charge this evening you should know that undercooked chicken is a health and safety hazard besides smells and tastes bad. As we were group of friends, we could give 4x1 star for this terrible experience as we were all upset not to have dinner. I believe that as a smart business man you are listening customer's opinion and feedbacks which helps to improve your business. Whising you all the best with...
