The spot for bagels in Chingford!

Big Al's is a warm and comfortable bagel spot, serving a host of bagels and other foods along with coffee and drinks.

The bagels are brilliant. Bagels themselves are sourced from a local Jewish bakery and the freshness shows. The saltbeef and pastrami are excellent quality and so are the rest of their ingredients. I especially recommend the Reuben, have to say it easily beats our there brick lane neighbors.

The inside is always clean with someone ready to take orders. Fiercely friendly staff who care about the local community.

I only wish they were open more often, I'd murder a bagel after work! A must-do when...

Top notch Reuben Beigel! Swung by on the off chance that it might be good. What a surprise to find such great food so close to home and even better, I was welcomed with a smile and friendly conversation. I’m a regular in brick lane and have been to some great places in the states (Katz’s Deli in NY for one!) and I was seriously impressed by the quality; absolutely delicious and a good portion too.
