The Indian Brasserie — Restaurant in London

Stay well away.

My wife and I decided to get a takeaway Indian and drove to The Indian Brasseri and ordered a curry on Friday 13 Jan 2017. The restaurant was empty and we the staff were hovering with nothing to do. We had polite conversation and left. When we got home we noticed the sauce was not rinny but looked thick and stale.

When we both sat down to eat the mean we noticed the fast if the food was disgusting - the meat was as hard and the sauce had a rancid taste as if it was not cooked together in the sauce. It was as if it was dried old meat they had stored from earlier in the week and stale sauce the chucked together in a saucepan and tried to blend it - Truly revolting

Awful place. I don’t know what these other people have been eating certainly isn’t authentic Indian food. Menu has same food on every page. Worst food I’ve eaten. Cold food no taste no spice just tandoori colour on every course bright red. That is not indian food. Boiled rice uncooked. I would rate this place zero. All these 4 n 5 star reviews are misleading. First time ordering a delivery from The Indian Brasserie and I must say I’m impressed! I’m veggie and ordered a Vegetable Balti main and a Vegetable Dansak side and both were delicious and very flavoursome. I also ordered a Stuffed Paratha which was perfectly cooked and full of veg.
