The Wishing Well — Restaurant in London

I visited this pub as part of a large birthday party group and we spent a lot of money. The 3 team bar staff were struggling to keep up with the amount of customers, causing long waiting times at the bar. At one point the bill was £39 and I wanted to pay £20 cash and the rest on card. I was told by Michelle, the landlady, : " could I be a bit more considerate in future, because they are busy ".!!!!!... I work in retail and it's absolutely no problem taking payments in cash/ card..... ..Later on, by another round of drinks, I wanted to pay with cash and was told ; you'll have to pay by card because I've got no change in the till... I was ordering on behalf of someone else and it was too much hassle to go back and ask them for their card so I paid with my card, which I didn't really want to do.........This is not my problem. Not my monkey, not my zoo. Bad service. Make sure you have enough cash in the till. Not everyone wants to pay by card. So , in my opinion, they need to get their act together to be able to cope better with busy evenings, because, the way it was tonight, I won't be...

Thank you for being examples to human society and treating me with such disrespect and racism. I went in here today with the intention to buy a pint and watch the football , i asked the lady bartender where’s the toilet and she said to me they don’t have one and that they don’t like foreigners around here it seems… i wonder how she would feel visiting other country for a business trip and trying to have a pint after a long day and be treated like I’ve been treated by her. Shame on you is 21st century we are not in stone age . As a business I wonder how you expect people to go in there when you treat...

Attended last night for a few drinks to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. The DJ played a good mix of classics. We have been before. Everytime the people are friendly. The service is very good. And above all the pub is safe. No need for bouncers. Keep an eye out for their fantastic tribute nights. Catering for the young and old alike. People come together here to enjoy the music, laugh drink and have fun. The drinks prices are reasonable. Service is efficient and swift, delivered...
