Charming café offering affordable food and drinks that surpass the big chains like Starbucks. £3.50 for a LARGE delicious almond croissant? Yes, please!
The freshly made bacon sandwiches are a delightful addition. You won’t be disappointed with the food at all. My partner had a latte which was acceptable, though not exceptional. The only aspect that lets the place down is the atmosphere, it’s non-existent.
No music playing or anything, unless we visited at the wrong time (Saturday around 10am). While waiting for our food and coffee, two customers came in but walked out, which is unfortunate because the food is really good!

Often the most you get is a look and then the card machine presented for payment. I don't need for everyone to be overly enthusiastic about working in a coffee shop but a bit of friendliness and simple acknowledgement, maybe even a smile is pretty basic. I recently moved and live locally but after several tries with the same 'welcome', I now avoid this place on that basis alone, even if it is in an incredibly convenient location. Oh, and don't expect to get any of the dairy alternatives that are listed on the menu, thry never...
