Titanic Cafe — Restaurant in London

It was spotless, and there was a friendly woman, but another waitress looked miserable and did not smile. I asked for tissues, and she walked past and ignored me, so I told the other woman she apologised, which was nice. The food looked beautiful, but when I ate it, it had no rich or pleasant taste; it was more like the plain taste of everything on my vegetarian breakfast. There is no vegan breakfast option. When I got the coffee, it tasted plain, not unique. They could have improved the taste, perhaps olive oil or coconut oil, to add some healthy taste and make more people come to the restaurant. I dont mind eating today, but I dont want to return to see this poor taste of food again. I hope they will do something to improve it. We possibly need to get more friendly waitresses or waiters who can smile most of the time. I saw other reviews which look great, but it is possible that this time of the year might not be a good day for them today. Went for breakfast, the food was mid - but good for the price point. The service - also fine. I was disturbed to note that the staff seemed hostile, and even borderline threatening to some delivery drivers. The drivers were being polite and quietly talking among themselves while they were being made to wait, what I thought was quite a long time for their deliveries. I know those guys don't get paid for waiting time, so I thought they were being pretty patient. If the delivery folks had been rude - that would have been one thing, but to treat sub-minimum wage workers like this just because you can ? Is that some kind of weird service worker flex? Maybe they'd had bad experiences with other ones and they were paying the hostility forward? Anyway, I have a nephew that does that job and would hate to think of him being...

As a fan of the Titanic, I was always curious about this café—and finally, today we had the chance to try it. The menu offers a wide variety of options, as you can see in the pictures. I went for a freshly squeezed orange juice, eggs royale, and hash browns. Others in my group ordered the mushroom omelette, Turkish toast, and lasagna. The orange juice was freshly squeezed—just the way I love it—and really refreshing. The hash browns were perfectly crispy, which I also really enjoyed.
