I recently had the pleasure of dining at Took Took and what an unforgettable experience it was! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a vibrant, stylish atmosphere that immediately set the tone for a memorable evening. The restaurant has a chic, contemporary vibe with subtle nods to Asian design elements, creating a comfortable yet sophisticated setting.
Let’s talk about the food—absolutely outstanding! As a lover of Pan-Asian cuisine, I was thrilled with the diverse menu, which perfectly blends flavors from Asia. Each dish was a work of art—delicate, flavorful, and perfectly executed. We started with some delicious starters - gyoza, chilli chicken, squid that were as fresh as they come, followed by a mind-blowing selection of small plates. The gayoza were melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the Thai red curry had just the right balance of spice and creaminess. Every bite was an adventure!
But what really elevated the dining experience were the cocktails. The drink menu was creative and expertly curated, offering a wonderful selection of cocktails that complemented the meal. I highly recommend the signature Berry Mojito, which was a unique blend of exotic flavors of berries and perfectly balanced spirits. The bartenders are true artisans, and their passion for crafting the perfect drink is evident in every sip.
The service was impeccable, with staff members who were attentive, friendly, and genuinely knowledgeable about both the food and drink offerings. They made excellent recommendations, and the pacing of the meal was spot-on, allowing us to enjoy each course without feeling rushed.

Read moreI booked this restaurant for my husband's birthday dinner, after seeing very promising reviews and the wide variety of pan Asian food on the menu. We ordered the chilli paneer as a starter, plus the Singapore and Schezwan vegetarian noodles as our mains. The chilli paneer was extremely sweet and had no spice/flavour to it at all. The Schezwan noodles was spicy but again no flavour. The Singapore noodles were better in comparison but still below average in flavour. We were extremely disappointed with the quality of the food, especially because we had high expectations after seeing the reviews online. Service for the mains was also very slow. The only reason for the 3 stars in service is for the great customer service from Neha our waitress, who was helpful throughout our meal and provided a small dessert with candle as requested on booking. Hopefully this review will be taken as constructive criticism by the kitchen staff and improvements will be made to the quality...
Read moreWe visited Took Took in West Hampstead for dinner yesterday, and it had been a while since our last visit. After leaving a positive review previously, it’s great to see how the restaurant has continued to improve.
In my last review, I mentioned: “Neha served us and was very pleasant and professional. We ordered the Pad Thai and Green Curry. Both dishes were very good, but we felt the Pad Thai wasn’t quite on the same level as the Green Curry.”
This time, the staff were as attentive and friendly as ever, and the food was excellent. The Pad Thai, in particular, was much improved and absolutely delicious. The Green Curry remains fantastic, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting.
