Tops Pizza — Restaurant in London

Service is terrible and I will not be returning!!

I ordered two medium pizzas, garlic bread, chicken wings and a bottle of soft drink. I ordered online at 19:50. The order arrived at 20:55. I had requested one of the pizzas to be deep pan. However they were both thin crust. I called Tops pizza. I asked for the manager. I explained what happened. He said they were too busy to replace the pizza when I pushed he said it will take another 45min - 1 hr for the pizza to come and I had to swap it with the wrong pizza. I told him that was ridiculous. He then proceeded to offer a free pizza when I next ordered. I said I was not happy with the level of service and would write a review. He said if you write the review then you would not receive a free pizza next visit.

To me it felt as if I was being blackmailed. I would rather share this review to warn others of the poor service. I understand that they were busy but customer service goes a long way. I will be forwarding a complaint to head...

I order from here all teh time however this time will be my last. Plz do not go here. I ordered 2 pepperoni pizzas and other sides Non halal. They sent me 2 large halal pepperoni pizzas When i complained tgey told me all meat is the same, after having to explain why i dont eat halal pizza due to religios reasons the guy who i spoke to said he would exchange only 1 pizza. I then said what the point of that. Finaly he said he would exchange the pizzas He asked if we had wanted the pizzas back - i think to resell. I finaly got my new order and it was the same as the first order (not real pork) I havent called them again because i believe they may have spat in my food by the way he has made me feel when i spoke to him. This is the worst £27.99 i have ever spent. I have just bought chickeb and chips for myself and my family.

Ask yourself this if it was the other way round would he have accepted pepperoni pizzas that wasnt halal and was made...

Generally Tops Pizza is one the the best chains to go for Pizza in London - variety of toppings and deal. Yet their Maida Vale store isn’t as reliable as their other stores in delivery. On numerous occasions, we got the wrong order, or missing order, or what is even worse - the app says the order had been accepted and dealt with, you end up waiting, you phone an hour later and they tell you we haven’t received any orders, that is if you are lucky enough and they pick the phone! Generally, other branches of Tops Pizza that we tried were Kentish Town Store (now closed), Hammersmith branch, Southwark branch and Acton branch all were very reliable - so I guess management needs to do something about their Maida...
