I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mosob Restaurant, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of warmth and hospitality that set the tone for the entire evening.
The ambiance of the restaurant is elegant yet cozy, with tasteful décor and soft lighting that created a relaxing environment. The staff greeted me with genuine smiles and impeccable service, making me feel welcome and valued throughout my visit.
Now, let's talk about the food. Every dish that graced my table was a masterpiece of flavor and presentation. From the vibrant colors of the appetizers to the rich aromas of the main courses, each bite was a journey for the senses. The menu offers a delightful selection of traditional Eritrean and Ethiopian dishes, expertly prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients.
One standout dish was the injera platter, served with a variety of savory stews and sides. The injera itself was light and fluffy, with just the right amount of tanginess, and the accompanying dishes were bursting with bold spices and complex flavors. It was a true feast for the palate.
To complement the meal, the wine list at Mosob Restaurant is extensive and thoughtfully curated, with options to suit every taste. The sommelier was knowledgeable and provided excellent recommendations, enhancing the overall dining experience.
In addition to the exceptional food and service, I was impressed by the attention to detail that was evident in every aspect of the restaurant. From the carefully arranged table settings to the immaculate presentation of each dish, it was clear that every element had been carefully considered to ensure a memorable dining experience.
In conclusion, Mosob Restaurant is more than just a place to eat – it is a destination for culinary enthusiasts seeking an extraordinary dining experience. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply craving an unforgettable meal, I highly recommend making a reservation at Mosob Restaurant. You won't be...
Read moreI don’t usually write reviews, but when I do, it’s because an experience truly stood out — and my visit to Mosob Restaurant with a group of friends was one of those moments. We went to celebrate one of our friends expecting her first baby, and from the moment we walked in until the moment we left, the staff made us feel completely at home. Even though there were so many of us (which I know can’t have been easy), the team was incredibly welcoming, patient, and attentive throughout the evening. They kept checking in, making sure we had everything we needed, and nothing ever felt too much trouble. On behalf of myself and the whole group — thank you so much for that extra effort, it didn’t go unnoticed. The atmosphere was just right, the music created a warm and joyful vibe, and the food was absolutely delicious. We ordered a variety of dishes — Special Kitfo with Ayib & Gomen, Awaze Tibs, Geba Weta, and Derek Tibs with salad — and every single plate was full of flavours and portion was good too. A special mention also goes to the owner, Ermias, who went above and beyond to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. His friendliness and genuine care really added to the whole experience. Honestly, this review still doesn’t capture how much of a good time we had. It was one of those evenings where the food, the Habesha Coffee (with Etan) & Tej, the place, and the people all came together perfectly. It’s a memory we’ll always carry with us — thank you, Mosob, for being such a big...
Read moreMy friend and I were going to Mosob. We rang a few days before to make a booking and gave our number. When my friend turned up for the booking, she was turned away as the chef hasn't turned up. The restaurant could have had the decency to call us in the morning and let us know to make alternative arrangements as their chef wasn't there and therefore they weren't able to open up. Instead we both made our 1.5hr journeys to the restaurant and they told us only when we turned up.
We emailed the restaurant a week in advance to confirm they're open, they never responded to our email. We have to phone them to book. I said I'd like to come at 1:30pm, the woman said can you come at 2pm because they need to turn the place around into a restaurant. It all just seems really dodgy. You can't tell someone to come at 2om when you open at 12pm. Poor communication skills and if this is their service without eating there, I can only imagine what's it's like to eat there. I wouldn't advise anyone to go here, unless you just want to go see it and then get rejected and told go else where to their "sister...
