Tossed Baker Street (Marylebone) — Restaurant in London

I typically love Tossed, but my last delivery has really made me question it - if this issue is confined to Baker St, then just avoid Baker St - hopefully the issue isn't systemic.

I ordered a custom salad on Deliveroo. 2 main issues; 1) I requested double lettuce base (I can't eat spinach)... and received spinach. Ok, not such a big deal...

However, I also requested double chicken breast. When I'd picked out all the errant spinach leaves, I was able to see how much chicken was in there... barely enough for a single portion, if that. It makes me wonder how many times in the past I've been short changed, but not noticed.

With all the other pieces I'd chosen the salad came to £17.50 (I question my own choices when I saw that!) - When you consider this was far from a cheap salad, the least you should be able to expect is to not be short changed on the quantity of the ingredients you've requested. Delicious, healthy food at reasonable prices. Tossed have expanded their selection of food since I last visited a branch a couple of years ago. You can get toasties, salads, hot pots and smoothies, they also now do breakfast too.

I ordered a prawn Thai curry, which was tasty and filling. The novelty of this store asides from its tongue in cheek name and their staff dressed in pink is that your order will be given a celebrities name which is definitely quite amusing as they shout out random famous people every time an order is ready.

The store is bright and has a large selection of food, you can make your salad to your liking and you can also pre-order online. Their is a small seating area but the store wasn't overly crowded for a lunch time.

I had a custom salad and it was pretty good but this place is expensive for just a basic salad. I paid about £13 for just 4 toppings. You only get the bases and dressing free, but proteins and vegetable toppings are not included, you don’t even get one included in the price so it works out poor value for money. It is mostly full of office workers getting takeouts or delivery drivers, there is some seating inside and outside. You make your order using the tablet and pay, only card accepted by the way and then you collect the order. The pros are that there is a lot if customisation, it also shows the calories and macros of everything so you know exactly what you are getting.
