nice park, especially summer time, have big ground generally used for cricket sport, small stream of wandle river passes through the park and do give good experience as there are lot of sitting benches available next to the small pond. best place for kids, lots of sports activities available. parking facility for around 10-15 cards. i am sure its first come first serve basis. cafe inside the park serves hot and cold food/drink. toilet facility available at cafe. there is a band stand available for any local artist to perform. basketball, tennis, skates separate courts available.

Last Saturday, 14th December 2024, we had a Friends of Wandle Park day with coffee, tea and cake to demonstrate the need for the cafe to be reopened. Read moreStaff are poorly trained and disinterested in providing any customer services. I realise it's a business and it has to make money but charging a small child 5p for a paper cup because he didn't want to drink his cola from a tin is just mean spirited. They should at least have drinking straws for this purpose.
Update: April 2018 - continues to deteriorate. Now only two cheap plastic tables outside to sit at. Menu is even more limited than last year. I think it's future trading days...
