I was staying at the Premier Inn next door (which was wonderful) but wasn't satisfied with the restaurant. On the evening, I ordered a smothered chicken burger which was dry - and no wonder, there wasn't enough BBQ sauce on (see photo) as it was all at the bottom. The icing on the cake came the following morning during breakfast. I had the £9.99 option and the sausages and bacon weren't up to scratch. Even though I was there for when the restaurant opened at 6:30, the bacon was cold and the sausages weren't to the correct temperature. Simply put, the hash browns and the baked beans that I had were hotter than the meat! It was obviously the chef who who was the problem as opposed to the hot lights (but even then, the meat wasn't to the correct holding temperature). Sausages must be at least 70 degrees before they can be consumed. This is the first time I've been back to this restaurant after having Campylobacter from the same problem a few years ago. Now I think I've got it again. Even though I spoke to the manager, she clearly didn't do anything as the following morning was exactly the same. While I will return to the hotel and other Brewers Fayre restaurants, I will not be returning to this particular restaurant for breakfast for no-one

Tables look like they had seen more wars than dinners Cutlery if they had been polished hadn't been polished properly, stains and watermarks on them. Chairs hard and uncomfortable Interior dated, in disrepair and felt unclean. Christmas lights left up Holes in the walls where curtain fittings was It seemed only half of the staff had competency and an appropriate amount of training. Staff not given proper uniform so half look scruffy with mismatched red shirts. A few seem to be very confused about every task and when they went to clean tables they put hardly any effort into it and only half of the tables usually cleaned and cutlery/napkins never replaced. Cauliflower cheese the worse ive ever had and I love Cauliflower cheese Ice machine was a mess Dirt particles in drinks from coke machine. Vinegar was fermented. The carver was sloppy and messy with the carving and made me hold the plate They serve Strongbow on draught but not darkfruits which is disappointing Toilets falling apart All toilets were blocked and in a disgusting condition. Feaces on wall that had been there days atleast The only Dryer was out of order and no hand towels were supplied 2pm 04/08/2024

I've visited this venue twice in the past 2 weeks. This was done deliberately so I could give their carvery a fair review. The main issue is that the lad serving the meat seems to just serve whatever he feels on the day. On my 1st visit, I received 4 pieces of meat. The second time around, the same person decided that he would only give me 3 pieces. It appears they don't use a system but instead make it up as they go along. This is one thing that really bothers me above all. If the vegetables were cooked to perfection, then maybe I could give them a break, but the rest of the options are nothing to shout about. Overall, The food is average quality, and the meat portions are not satisfactory for any adult. What a shame, I had planned on making it my regular Sunday roast spot. Guess I will have to keep searching..... Final word: I recommend paying a few more quid and enjoy a good roast elsewhere. However, If you dont care about quality and just want to fill your belly, then give this place a try. PARKING: Plenty of free parking (3 hrs) if you validate your vehicle on the tablet as you enter the main entrance.

Can not believe I am having to write this about a well known “family” restaurant BREWERS FAYRE (beckton branch) . I regularly visit brewers fayre with my father and 4 children . 2 of of my children are disabled which brewers fayre are well aware of due to us being regular customers . We visited the Beckton branch of brewers fayre (Winsor House) on Saturday 30th April 2022 . It was myself , my father and my 4 children that attended . 2 of my children are disabled, one with a severe Brain condition, along with autism and the other with autism. Due to my children’s disability , they play with their food while eating and will make a lot of mess with food wherever they are, home or outdoors. Whenever we visit brewers fayre, my disabled children make mess on the floor and table however I always clean up before we leave and the place is left exactly as it was when we arrived. On 30/04/22, we visited for another meal. After a while of being in the restaurant , the manager approached me and stated the floor and surroundings was very messy, and people do not want to be having their dinner around mess, she asked me to leave the restaurant. The manager in charge was called Ivy. I was in absolute shock, I explained to Ivy (store manager) we are regulars in the restaurant. I explained 2 of my children were disabled which is why they make a lot of mess during their meals, and stated I always clean up the mess we have made before leaving the restaurant. I said to Ivy all she had to do was ask me to clean up the mess my disabled children had made as it was uncomfortable to other guests. I then said I would clean up the mess , she interrupted me speaking and said she did not want me to clean up the mess my children made, instead she wanted me to leave the restaurant. I expressed I was disgusted by her response, and explained i felt my disabled children were being discriminated because of their disability. I understand the restaurant Would like to keep the restaurant nice and tidy for all the guests, however to kick us out because my disabled children made mess is just disgusting , and pure discrimination. I explained to the manager (Ivy) I would clean up my childrens mess before I left as that is what I do at every visit. She walked away without responding and without me knowing or giving her any valid reason to, she called the police. Police attended and said after speaking to staff members it is clear I always leave the restaurant clean and tidy , however they have been called to make sure I leave the restaurant and they can not leave until me and my family leave . I then had to pack up all of my belongings , get my disabled daughter into her wheelchair, and be escorted out of brewers fayre by police officers. Not only was this such an embarrassment for myself and my children, I was made to feel like a criminal. I will never forget how brewers fayre made me feel that evening , I was being punished and kicked out of a “family” restaurant because my disabled, vulnerable children made some mess. Brewers fayre discriminated against my children because of their disability , and I will not accept this and keep quiet . I am my children’s voice as they are non verbal, how my children have been treated is appalling and unforgivable . Brewers fayre you should be disgusted with yourselves , allowing your staff to discriminate against disabled guests is appalling and totally...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Winsor House Brewers Fayre and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for the rest of the evening.

The ambiance of the restaurant is inviting, with tasteful decor and soft lighting that create a cozy and intimate atmosphere. The attention to detail is evident in every aspect of the dining experience, from the table settings to the impeccable service.
