Extremely disappointed with the service and the food. I don’t usually write reviews but I had to do this time… worst customer service, I orderd soup it was so tasteless, lumpy can’t explain.. but worst soup ever.. I also orderd sweet and sour chicken with noddles.. chicken was soo hard and chewy I don’t know how old it was? Ask for chilli oil was tasteless it was just oil couldn’t taste any chilli .. worst service while I was eating she even took the cutlery Away and I was left only with fork.. had to call the lady back to please give me fork back as I can’t eat with only fork. Would never recommend to anyone..

Great food, abit pricey, crispy duck has definitely gone up in price, quality is good, only halal Chinese restaurant in South London. Great service, quantity is okay, but can be very spicy. Usual prices varies from £6.00 upwards. Better to order takeaway and then you can eat it later.

We ordered Wu Tong vegetable noodles which were quite good and the crispy duck. The duck was actually crispy and pancakes were nice but I was expecting lemongrass and we got sliced spring onions instead which was quite disappointing. Portions are decent! Not wowed though!

They were busy yesterday so my food was below standard. Ordered the duck and they didn't even bother to shred it. Schezwan chicken wasn't even cooked through at all! It was a waste of £20, they don't even drain their prawn crackers so expect to eat a bottle of oil when attempting those! I called them up to ask why and got through to this waitress who calls herself Sandy. She was rude to us before two years ago and I complained then and seems in 2018 she is still the same if not worse. She put the phone down on me for no utter reason. She's extremely aggressive and rude. The only reason I come here is because it is halal otherwise I would never come here because of the bad service. I have been coming here since they opened about 10 years ago and their customer service is unacceptable to be honest. They even wanted to try and charge me £1 for a take away pot with chilli oil so I cancelled it. Sandy said it's because of the container - what a ridiculous reason. I would recommend the duck but the other food is hit and miss but except bad attitude from this Sandy woman and try not to get angry when she becomes aggressive and rude. The owner / chef clearly thinks their customers don't understand what real Chinese should taste like as they cook below standard. Perhaps they should change chef. One star because it's compulsory otheriwse it's below...

Always exceeds my expectations, food is alway fresh and tasty. It’s hard to find a decent halal Chinese and for me they are the best in south London. I order many times and the food is 10/10 every time, delivery is always efficient and staff are friendly and helpful. My favourite is by far is the sweet and sour chicken, seaweed and chicken noodles, my daughter won’t eat Chinese from anywhere else. (Their crispy chicken wings are yummy too) Eating in is even better, the place is clean, the lady I believe is the owner is such a lovely lady she really goes out her way to host, she was so sweet to my daughter, who loved the fishes and tried to feed them noodles (😩) the guy who also works there is a lovely man very polite and helpful, feel the need to write a essay as I think they are underrated and don’t get the ratings they truly deserve. Bad reviews I don’t get but I guess everyone has a acquired taste for me they are the best! And will continue to order and eat in. Keep up the good...

Been to Woks a number of times and must say there is inconsistency. When eating in, food is good portion and service is generally good, seating is good. Overall experience is pretty decent. However this is greatly overshadowed when you decide to do delivery. As other reviews have mentioned, they stuff the box with mainly noodles, on top the one taking orders on the phone comes across as a little rude and then when they mess up on the order, they make it out like it's not their fault and no apology either unless pressed for. Then you end up waiting an exceedingly longer time for the additional items to come , which they also lie about over the phone. I've also had delivery driver just hand me the bag and just walk off without ensuring that i've actually grabbed it which ended up falling on the floor causing the container to break and leak. He did apologise however in his defence. Would I order from woks again? Not sure , would I go in to eat? Most likley yes unless it...
