If you're in a rush just get black coffee, anything else and you'll be late for how long the service takes. The staff aren't too rude but having to explain my orders after waiting for 10-20 minutes at a time is a stressful situation almost that one of an altercation.
4 times to this Costa in the span of 30 days and 4 times an issue.
I ordered a specialty drink 40 minutes in advance that even if it was made for a bit I could just grab it and go, doesn't matter if it's a bit melted I just didn't have much time to spare. They completely forgot about it and I asked them if they've been busy and got a reply to a slow morning, they completely forgot about it and had to wait 10 minutes for my order.
Another time I put in an order and had to wait 10 minutes, while other people were served another customer that was the 4th served after my order actually spoke up that I've been waiting for a while. Once they were speaking to me again I had to tell them what I ordered multiple times, the person had to grab someone else because they stated they didn't know how to make my drink.
Along with another order on a different date when they didn't bother with my coffee when I paid alongside coupon. I don't know if the manager stepped in but another employee took care of it after 15 minutes or more. I honestly hate speaking out and try to be patient but watching customers go by and one get served a similar drink before me gets hair splitting.
The last is just a minor issue with one of their equipment not working. Not their fault just unfortunate how every visit has ended in disappointment. Staffing in Harlesden is getting worse and worse along general safety. If you're passing through I'd just keep going and if you're here looking for a fix of coffee expect some turbulence or keep your order simple...

They paid no attention to myself nor my friend who made an order.
One of the staff members was shouting at the phone in her hand whilst she was supposed to be taking our order.
There was a bit of confusion about the order as well, because the customer before us was given coffee and he said he may have been given mine. He then said he was going and left. They then placed an order in front of me and I thought it was mine, they then both started talking about me in either Hindi or Gujarati and I recognised a few of the insult words, which I was very tempted to react to, but I know if I did I would be labelled the villain.
The one who was on her phone was very rude and the other one who was making the coffee insinuated that I had made up the customer who left with the other coffee. It was a very prejudice thing to do, because I even felt at one point that I was really trying my hardest to prove to them that I wasn’t lying.
And they would stop talking about us and this coffee they made and couldn’t think of why they made it instead of just believing what I told them. Anyway to me it’s quite obvious why.

Staff have been extremely rude in the past, however this last occasion, left me to write a review, staff member was so unprofessional, service was poor, coffee was disgusting.
I went to the Alperton branch the other day, where the taste of the coffee was well made, this branch was below poor, with a rude staff member to go with it, who seemed to have a problem, when I asked for chocolate sprinkle, as they didn't ask me. So before the closed the lid, I politely mentioned "may I have chocate sprinkle please" there response was so rude, they began to chuck the chocolate in my coffee and then chucked it at me, they began to speak another laungague after.
Got food poisoned once from here, thought I would never go back, only went back because of the great coffee I had elsewhere, thought at least they could get that right, nope.
