Read moreHands down the absolute WORST Indian food we've ever had - terrible slow service - the place was empty when we went in (but they'd only just opened at 5.30, so that wasn't unusual) - considering we were the only two people there, the food took ages to come - they did bring popadums right away with a host of condiments, which seemed very promising (6 pounds) - the korma 10.95 was the tiniest portion ever, arrived luke warm, the pilar rice was fine , a small portion and not worth the price they charged us, 3.95, the mango lasso was delicious (best part of the meal) and was 6.90 AND he forgot about the naan! I had to go and remind him twice, as we'd almost finished our food - he then brought the naan which was HUGE- but very unlike a naan - very thick and heavy - I was stunned when he charged us for it considering we'd almost finished our meal when he brought it 2.95. No wifi either so we couldn't even call uber (we're visiting from overseas) - he had to call a taxi to get us home - for 30 pounds, it was the most expensive and the absolute worst indian meal ever. The taxi driver told us that next time, go to Sipson Tandoori restaurant. Worst indian meal ever. AND I'm just checking their menu prices online versus what they charged us - their korma says 6.95 on their website - THEY CHARGED US 10.95!!!! All other items were MUCH MORE expensive than is listed on their website menu. I couldn't even verify it then and there because we had no wifi, I couldn't even show the owner look, this is what your website says the prices are and look what you charged us. We were CHEATED by these people. I am astounded - just because we are tourists and they think we are stupid, they can post prices on their website and then charge us whatever they want. They didn't want to give me a copy of the itemized bill, so I took a photo, to prove that they are charging a lot more than their website says the prices are. ...

Stepping into this Indian restaurant was like stepping into a culinary oasis. The air was redolent with the fragrant spices of India, promising an adventure for the taste buds. The ambiance, adorned with traditional Indian decor, transported me to the streets of Mumbai.
Let's delve into the heart of the experience - the food. The Tandoori chicken stole the show, perfectly marinated and cooked to juicy perfection. Each bite was a burst of smoky flavor that left me craving for more. And the Biryani? Simply divine. The fragrant rice, layered with tender meat and aromatic spices, was a symphony of flavors. However, a word of caution: the green chili served alongside packs a fiery punch, so tread carefully if you're not accustomed to the heat!
But what truly elevated the experience was the impeccable service. The owner's son, who served as our waiter, was the epitome of friendliness. His warm demeanor and attentive service made us feel right at home, enhancing the overall dining experience.
In conclusion, my visit to this Indian restaurant was nothing short of extraordinary. With tantalizing dishes like the Tandoori chicken and flavorful Biryani, complemented by the friendly service, it's a culinary journey you won't want to miss.
