Truly excellent quality food. We went for a birthday meal, not realising that Sunday lunch is Sunday roast. Well, we were very lucky! Vegetarian and older attendees were well catered for, the portions were generous without being excessive, and the quality of the food was excellent. Staff were busy but attentive and patient. Kind and friendly, and the general ambience was very pleasant. Eating out is generally expensive these days, but I felt the meal was good value for money. There was piped music, which was not unpleasant and not so loud as to affect conversation (especially for our older party member). Went here for the first time - what they have done with the restaurant is amazing - decor and all round appearance of the restaurant was great - modern and stylish. The food was excellent - good quality and something a bit different - good value for money. Drinks were well priced and the wine selection was very good. The new owners couldn’t have been more accommodating - nothing was too much trouble - couldn’t fault the service - we will definitely be back - a great addition with a bit of class...

A super range of unusual and tasty dishes, which are served as each plate is ready. Great for sharing, we ordered a few dishes and then a few more. The smoked oysters were amazing! The wine choices were carefully selected also, all good. UPDATE … Have been back twice over recent months and the service, ambience, menu choice (which has evolved) and quality of cooking is excellent. This is a great venue for a romantic meal, special occasion or a self indulgent meal ! FYI not...
