The Carpenters Arms — Restaurant in Maldon

This was my first visit. The pub is nicely laid out inside and the barman was pleasant and friendly. I was meeting a friend for lunch and had looked online to check out the menu. Unfortunately, on arrival, we were told that the lighter lunch options weren't available, only full meals. Apparently, they were in the process of changing their menus. As neither of us wanted a large meal in the middle of the day, we settled for a drink and went away hungry. However, that said, it is a pub that I would visit again and the full meals did...

Congratulations on your C .A.M.R.A. award, you certainly won't be getting one for customer service. After ringing to enquire as to whether you did food, was told that you were starting your menu on Monday 20th April 2015, wonderful!, you would e.mail a menu, even discussed vegetarian options, of which you would have two.Did we need to book, no, shouldn't be that busy on a Monday! So today we drove 15 miles to come to you for lunch only to be told on arrival,sorry we don't do food!What a way to...

Time to sort your act out guys winter is coming. Only 4 people in tonight apart from us and all of them offering loads of advice to a 5 stone young girl on how to change a barrel but no actual help.
