I can understand the need for plastic cups that will not break when your customers are enjoying beverages outside. But I was sad to see so many single use, plastic cups, being used by most patrons, and then discarded into the trash. Especially when to some customers, depending how we asked, we were able to get more durable plastic cups that seem to get reused by the bar.

By 2050, there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish, and over 95% of the plastic that we intentionally try to recycle, actually gets recycled. Rather it ends up in landfills, incinerators, in our waterways, or in our bodies via microplastics.

I would love to see more consistency and communication from local restaurants, and cafés to help customers mitigate this issue. When we have limited options for how we drink a beer, for example, maybe it can help to at least start by offering a clear option.

I would bet the most customers would want to order their beer in a reusable cup, rather than one that will get thrown away after one use. Is there a way you can articulate that option? Or invest more in the durable, unbreakable plastic cups, in lieu of the flimsy, single use plastic ones?

Thank you for considering. And thank you for a wonderful bar experience. I appreciate you listening to my concerns about our current environmental crises and the ways that we can all work to chip away with them, rather than actively or passively...

We may have rated this place average but it does have a very cool vibe. It struck us as very Kreuzberg, Berlin'ish. It is comfortable in a sort of broken furniture feel. But don't view that as a criticism. That is their aim.

All of the customers were very chill & enjoying their evening. We went twice in 10 nights in Manchester.

And of course they have the requisite "bored" bartender look. Yes, they served us well, just don't expect any animated conversation from them. I asked one bartender what the street name beside the bar was. His reply: "I have no idea."

So you get the picture: The drinks are good & well priced, the vibe is chill, the music is spot on & the staff practice their indifference to perfection. Go...

Nice bar with character, with decent selection of craft beer and some cocktails. The raised booths work really well and there is plenty of outdoor seating.

The beers were too repetitive though, hazy pale session ales and some larger. Obviously they are needed, but it would be nice to have some variety. Only 2 of the casks were on (Monday lunchtime), which was a disappointment too. (One cask being Dunham Gold - which is brewed for strength not taste).

They had run out of fresh mint, so no mojitos, meaning we went for G&T. Which with fresh lime, was very nice.

Overall I would say, good bar but just needs a little more thought to the combination of the offer at the...

Yes go there. My feelings there.....dirtiness and happiness.....it s not dirty.....just the feeling u are home. Nothing sparkling perfect or posh or fake luxury......it s Manchester.....u ll be happy satisfied settled comfy and excited and relaxed as well. U can sit and eat and drink or to all of this and watch and explore the space and place. Downstairs or upstairs no chance to be bored.....furniture on the walls or fantastic menu on the table.....in the dirtiness and happiness of Manchester.....after meal go out and just walk and watch the walls.....u ll love the Man
