Afflecks Manchester opens at slightly different timings on different days. The opening timings of Afflecks are:
Mondays to Fridays: 10:30am to 6pm Saturdays: 10am to 6pm Sundays: 11am to 5pm
As we were slightly early on a Saturday morning, we strolled around a little before the stroller door opened at 10am sharp. Inside, we felt that there was an āindieā element to it. Nothing was in total order. The walls had different posters or art work. The shops were not arranged in any orderly fashion and you could be lost in its mazy layout. Well, not really, just make a clockwise or anti-clockwise movement around the main path and you should be fine š

Ignore at your own discomfort climbing loads of stairs if you haven't got the stamina. The stairs have arrows and info written on them. The crystal shop is actually on the 4 th floor. My photos clearly identify that as l covered all of the 3 rd floor. Didn't have to time to cover others. This is the perfect place to while away 2 or 3 hrs picking a gift, buying a book, a hat, an extravagant cabaret / gig outfit with accessories, including bejazzle jewelry, plan/ get a tattoo, take selfies, even buy a guitar in the steam punk ,all things wonderful men's clothing shop. My apologies that l didn't get the name of all the businesses there. What l can tell you is that it's the crown jewel of the northern quarter in Manchester. You can't miss it out of any visit there. I'm a west Londoner who misses these large pick n mix in person craft places where you get a chance to speak to creatives direct, perhaps even order a bespoke piece at an affordable price.
