Read moreHave heard for a while about how good and authentic tasting is Turtle Bay. I'm on a mission to find good Plant-Based foods whether in a Vegan establishment or omnivore food place. Go past there frequently and shot an event in there a few years ago
Turtle Bay had a few Vegan options and I ordered the 'No-Moo Burger' with Fries. A nice addition because they did not have Non-Dairy Cheese (Lactose Intolerant) they made me a portion of Jerk Mushrooms as a freebie. To help wash down this delicious food I had a drink of Neptune Rum with Coca-Cola.
'No-Moo Burger' - Flavours and Texture were even throughout the burger. Great bite-to-softness ratio. Everything on the burger tasted clean and the presentation was nice. They did not overdo it with sauce, lettuce, and condiments.
Fries - Cooked to perfection with a nice crispy and soft crunch. And the seasoning on the fries was nice. Great to dip in Jerk BBQ sauce.
Jerk Mushroom - This was a pleasant surprise and quite a nice side dish to finish with.
All in all, I am very impressed and appreciate the staff were super accommodating and friendly.
I will be returning! My only criticism is please add more plant-based alternatives, A nice jerked seitan burger, and non-dairy milkshakes. Options are good at the moment, just a suggestion that will improve the menu even more.
9/10 overall - I'm a fussy eater! I rarely give 9/10! Also, love the aesthetic of the interior and exterior of the restaurant/bar....
