Kansas fried Chicken — Restaurant in Manchester

I thought I'd try the spicy chicken burger after many years. There was a time when Kansas was the only and the best chicken burger place in Mcr.

Going back was a very bad mistake. It was the worst chicken burger I've ever seen or had. The chicken was stale, dry and rock-hard. I actually took the food back into the shop, took the chicken out of the bun and knocked it against the counter a few times, and it made a knocking sound.

All I got from the guy behind the counter was "sorry I don't know how old the chicken is or when it was made" after seeing and being told how bad the food was. And there was no offer of replacement or refund.

Now I'm sat in my car paying price of my mistake with a terrible stomach ache.

My advice is stay well away from this...

There's chicken and then there's Kansas. Been coming here for years now. Staff is professional and to the point. People complaining forget it's a take away. Staff is busy and can't chit chat. You order; pay and collect ur food...Thank you. If you are polite they even give you fresh chicken from the fryer. Being polite goes a long way. Their combo meals are great. The double chicken fillet burger dipped in chicken sauce is second to none. Also if you like wings; get them dipped in the chilli sauce; you won't regret it. Giving 4 stars as I wish I could sit and eat there; the shop is massive and if they planned it right they could have have seating space too. Also rarely at odd times the chicken can be dry like others...

Appalling service waited 15 minutes for two burger meals with cheese, There was only two customers in the shop. The elderly African male with glasses must not care about customer service, He even forgot to put the cheese on both burger's. All the chicken filets were already cooked and in the display cabinet so no excuses. “Dry chips and a dry burger x 2” I only live 60 seconds away I drove home I could not believe he had the bottle to give us dry chips dry burgers. I felt like going back and throwing it back at him. But I’m past arguing with idiots. It may have got out of hand knowing what I’m capable of. I will never again go to Kansas Burnage. Il stick to Miami’s that is worth the 15 minutes wait and...
