Restaurant Review: Chandani Restaurant ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Today, I had the pleasure of visiting Chandani Restaurant for breakfast with my friend, Mr. Shaukat Bashir. From the moment we stepped in, we were thoroughly impressed by the warm hospitality and inviting atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious, capturing the rich, authentic flavors of traditional Pakistani cuisine. Every dish was cooked to perfection, reflecting both culinary expertise and a strong commitment to quality. It was truly a delightful culinary experience that reminded us of the genuine taste of home. Equally impressive was the customer service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, and we were particularly pleased with the service provided by Mr. Arslan Umer. His professionalism, friendliness, and attentive nature made our visit even more enjoyable. He is clearly a key figure in the restaurant’s operations and embodies the high standards that Chandani Restaurant upholds. Without hesitation, I would highly recommend Chandani Restaurant to anyone looking to enjoy authentic Pakistani food in a welcoming environment. Whether you're visiting with friends, family, or colleagues, this restaurant offers a memorable experience in both taste and service. We look forward to...
Read moreI recently had an appalling experience at Chandni’s Restaurant on Kingsway in Manchester, leaving me utterly disgusted by their pricing practices. I was charged an outrageous £16.99 for a jug of mango lassi! This is nothing short of daylight robbery.
When I raised my concerns with the owner, I was met with a dismissive response claiming they had price-checked against competitors and used the "finest mango pulp." However, from my experience at numerous other restaurants, none have charged such extortionate prices:
Mumtaz, Talbot Road (closed) - £9.95 My Lahore, Wilmslow Road - £9.45 My Peshawar, Wilmslow Road - £9.00 Akbars, Liverpool Road - £7.50 Safire, Upper Brook Street - £7.50 Kabul, Stockport Road - £6.50
Moreover, the so-called "finest mango pulp" clearly came from a tin, not fresh mango – a poor justification for such an inflated cost.
To add insult to injury, the mango lassi wasn’t even tasty. It lacked freshness and flavour, making the hefty price tag even more shocking. I am definitely never returning to this establishment. Rip-off merchants like these deserve to be called out for their exploitative pricing. Save your money and...
Read moreWe went at 10am on a Friday, I was surprised how empty and quite it was. We had the breakfast Channay/Halwa/Puri 7.99 with No chai. The Puris were well made and good portion and size. Overall 4 star. Shame they didn't feel the need to include a Chai which was an extra 2.00. So 9.99 that's expensive we felt.
We also ordered Option 1 on the breakfast menu Pratha/Channay/Omlette and guess what it included karak chai 8.99. If you're looking for a desi breakfast pratha don't waste your money. The pratha was so disappointing. It was made not with chapatti flour but with a puff pastry with no sign of raising so essentially plain flour that turned out to be almost a puff pastry biscuit like. I said to my wife this is a bit like eating samosa pastry.
Guys you really need to fix your pratha please. Desi prathas are not like what we were served. Hence 1 star. You also need to fix your pricing why is the traditional oily breakfast not include chai like all the other breakfast options.
£19 for what was a...
