Marco Reas Diner — Restaurant in Manchester

I had a terrible experience ordering from Marco Reas via Deliveroo. When my driver arrived, he had no food and told me that the restaurant had given my order to someone else. Confused as to why a driver was at my door empty-handed, I called the restaurant for clarification.

The person I spoke to was incredibly rude and unapologetic. They admitted they had given my food to someone else but made no effort to remake the order or resolve the issue. Instead, they told me to request a refund through the app, showing zero accountability for their mistake.

The lack of professionalism and customer service was shocking. No apology, no attempt to fix their error—just dismissiveness. I won’t be ordering from here again, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone expecting basic...

Honestly this is a dessert place, and i think that’s where they excel, so i’m not surprised the lunch food i ordered was a bit dead. As seen on photos the milkshake was delicious but the hot food was just bland. i also asked for extra cheese on my loaded fries but if that’s extra im concerned for what the normal amount is… The server i got seemed massively disinterested in serving the food but its a minimum wage job i don’t blame her. The guy who took my order at the bar was very friendly. me and my partner however both agree that you kinda get what you pay for. the price is so reasonable which is really good for these days, so im considerate of that. Absolutely nothing is a problem in here. When we visit we typically spend a long time here it's amazing. My boys (6&4) were being a bit silly they'd had far too many waffles. They kept trying to get behind the counter, managed to flirt their way to a banana each, wouldn't stop talking to the staff and never once did they bat an eyelid. Every time I got up to bring them back to the table the girls behind the counter assured me they were fine and enjoyed chatting to them.
