My recent visits to the McDonald's on Oxford Road have been pretty disappointing, to say the least. Usually, you'd expect some level of consistency with McDonald's, but this place is just not hitting the mark. The food, for starters, hasn't been up to scratch. The burgers, which are usually a safe bet, came across as stale and lacked that juicy punch you’d expect. Even the fries, and let’s be honest, McDonald’s fries are usually the saving grace, were a letdown – they were more limp than crispy. It’s like the excitement of biting into what you’ve been craving just falls flat. Then there's the whole issue of waiting time. You go to a fast-food joint for, well, fast food, right? But here, I’ve ended up waiting way longer than seems reasonable, even at times when the place isn’t exactly bustling. It's kind of ironic – you pop in for a quick meal and end up watching the clock as minutes tick by. And don’t get me started on the cleanliness. It's like the tables have a knack for staying dirty. I've walked in a few times hoping to find a clean spot to sit, and it’s like playing a game of spot the clean table. The restrooms aren’t faring much better either. You’d think keeping the basics in check, like toilet paper and soap, would be a given, but apparently not. Honestly, it's just a bummer. You expect certain standards when you walk into a McDonald's, but this particular branch? It's just not living up to the name.

Located inside the ASDA Hulme superstore, this McDonald’s is conveniently positioned to the left of the main entrance, easily accessible after crossing the store. The outlet is ideal for a quick bite, particularly for shoppers looking to refuel. The staff were notably helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and the surrounding area was clean and well-maintained, adding to the pleasant experience. I visited with the intention of ordering a coffee mocha, but was disappointed to find it wasn’t available on the menu. Undeterred, I opted for a hot chocolate and a separate espresso shot, which I combined myself. This workaround turned out to be surprisingly enjoyable, adding a fun twist to my visit. The service was swift, making this McDonald’s perfect for those seeking a fast meal before continuing their shopping or heading out. The compact setup caters well to families and individuals alike, with ample seating for a quick break. While the menu could benefit from more specialty drink options, the efficiency and cleanliness make it a reliable choice. For a no-fuss, speedy dining experience within the convenience of ASDA Hulme, this McDonald’s delivers. I’d recommend it for anyone needing a quick, satisfying stop during their shopping trip.

Absolute shambles of a Maccies. *Fast food* served at a snails pace. They can't get the most simplistic things right. Ordered a LARGE Big Mac Meal and received half a big mac (the whole top bun+patty was missing) a small cappuccino in a large cup. And the 1 patty I did receive on my bleak Big Mac was like a hockey puck. I don't really rate Maccies, but for a quick lunch it's usually OK. Avoid this Maccies -

If a no star choice was there I would not have given any this has to be the worst McDonald's ever I always have to ask for everything fresh because if the food is like warm I Begin to feel ill and also by the time I get home it's stone cold the fries are meant to be boiling hot I asked for a refund and went to another McDonald's and it was perfect McDonald's asada hulme are working in a tiny environment everyone is on each other's toes they almost seem stretched to capacity the manager did not handle the situation professionally she was arrogant and rude when I requested a refund the kitchen area needs to be expanded.its too small they fry the fries and leave them sitting in the baskets they need to serve them as soon as they come out the system to put them in containers and then put them at the back of the oven does work the heating light does not keep them hot they just dry them out and they taste rubbery the burgers are like warm they make me feel sick McDonald's asda Hulme needs closing down bring in a cafe because it's...
