Food: Starters were excellent and couldn’t fault them within our group we got the honey tenders, king prawns, cheeseburger dumplings and sausage. Would recommend all of them.

Mains: Was a let down for me personally. I had ordered a fillet steak medium. When it arrived and I cut through the middle it was blue and completely raw. I’ve never sent a steak back before but had to here and when they gave it back it had gone from blue to still pretty raw. I’m perfectly fine to have raw steak but even after sending it back they were unable to cook it correctly, when considering the price is a shame. The rest of the group got a mix of other things and the ribs were extremely good and would suggest people to order this as it was the nicest main course. Others got a rib eye and burger which were both nice.

Dessert: I would come back here just for the key lime pie! We got all desserts and shared between each other and would recommend any of them. By far the best course we had.

Service: The manager and the woman dealing with seating etc were extremely friendly and welcoming. There was a slight delay in the mains coming out and the manager especially came out to let us know and gave us free desserts which is extremely good service (noting the mains were just 15/20 mins late). Only issues in service was some of the waiting staff either putting cutlery directly onto the table as opposed to the napkin or they were either handling the cutlery from the top of the knife or fork etc rather than the bottom. It’s a really big pet peeve when people handle cutlery incorrectly. Given the price of the food and the other service being of such a high quality, correctly handling cutlery should be a given. There was also an issue where sides were brought out 15 minutes after the steaks by when most of the meal had been finished. They also didn’t bring us out the correct sides and as we could see how rushed and busy they were we didn’t say anything, but we still got charged for additional items that never arrived. Really random point but there was a random old guy in a yellow jacket that was just watching everyone at the front which we thought was very odd. Something needs to be done about the doors as the breeze that kept coming in was terrible snd you could tell it was affecting nearly everyone sat down. It may be worth getting a hot air blower at the top of the door to trap the cold air outside.

Overall: Really nice experience with excellent starters and desserts but the main menu really ruined it for me. At a place that is essentially marketing themselves as a steak house cooking a steak shouldn’t be an issue at all and given it was nearly a £40 steak it was a massive let down. If this hadn’t have been an issue I’d have definitely...

TLDR; Foods incredible, service is above and beyond and the energy is lovely. Excellent quality and for a good price. My biggest thank yous to Shrey and Bindiya.

I came here at the end of a very stressful day, if I were to detail everything that's happening I'm sure you'd agree. Shrey was assigned to my table. He approached me very warmly and was so friendly and charming. He promptly brough me a free starter, which is provided with every meal here and is delectable. I ordered a steak and bone marrow - absolutely incredible. The bone marrow was ingeniously paired with grilled garlic bread, flavours I never would have thought to combine. The steak was as I had asked - juicy and rare. The kiwi lime mojito was so refreshing, I enjoyed every drop of it. Shrey noticed I seemed down, and respectfully enquired on my emotional state without prying, which allowed me to feel like I was being listened to and cared for - going way beyond what you'd expect from a staff member. He remained professional at all times of course, and interestingly gave me a lot of insight on my dilemma, not with what he said but with his kind actions. He asked what part of my meal I had enjoyed the most, and brought me another on the house as soon as I told him. This made me feel very happy. Then he brough me a slice of cake, I believe it was called a Keelan Pie. I couldn't stop smiling. There's virtually no gain from being decent in this way, and he went the extra mile, so I thought I should too. He served me in a way that deserves high appraisal - if this is the standard of service and kindness that Meatworks offers throughout, please consider me a loyal returning customer from now on. Towards the end of my meal, a lovely waitress called Bindiya approached my table to clean up, and I really enjoyed her energy. She was holding a big stack of plates but was in absolutely no rush to put them away despite me commenting on it - she stood there and conversed as if we had been childhood friends. Thank you to Shrey and Bindiya, I do hope I spelt your names right. I believe you get what you give, and I pray you receive abundantly. I will be keeping an eye to see to it that you are...

First time visiting the Meatworks after choosing this place to eat as a group celebrating one of our friends' 40th birthday!! (Party of 8)

Honneslty dined with open view and not knowing what to expect, only going on the reviews seen online and the videos seen on Instagram, but truly, all the food we ordered as a group was amazing!!! 🤩 So much so that each of us was nibbling on the next person's dish, Try a bit everything!..

From the presentation to the tenderness of the steaks & beef rib to the mouth-watering burgers! It's probably one of the best meals we have had as a group in long while. 😋 🍖🍔🥩..

Personly had the flame grilled king prawns to start an can honneslty say the prawns were fresh! 🦐 Tender and sweet with an amazing creamy sauce with fiery kick.!! Not rubber at all, certainly not the normal frozen style stuff you aftern find you get served.

For the main, i had the signature koren beef rib! This was simple mouth-watering ly tender 🤤.. with a rich Emmy sauce that nicely cut the rictchness of the beef. Had this with the crushed poataos, which were perfect to mop up that emmy sauce, and also the sizzling bone marrow. (This was nice but was overly salted an needed that something more just lift.)

Overall experience was fab! The staff are great and couldn't fault them, fast politean & attentive.

As we were a large party and as this place was walking in only we called in ealry and scouted the place out first! We gave the staff a heads up, in that moment we couldn't dine straight away but they give use the heads up about 40min later once they could accommodate ( we sat next door an had drink whilst waiting, staff memmeber bobbed over an give use nod they where ready).

One thing keep in mind also is the place don't serve alcohol!! But this isn't an issue because the large range of mocktail is rely rely good. I'm personally a particular fan of a mojito, and their version were slightly different with a kiwi infusion. I enjoyed it that much had two!!

Certainly a birthday meal to remember and deffently be a place I'd recommended to family and friends with no issue 10/10...

I visited Meatworks at Circle Square on a weekday and was surprised to find it already quite busy – clearly word is getting around fast. The atmosphere was lively, and the staff were absolutely lovely. The waiters made us feel super welcome from the moment we walked in, which really added to the experience. I went with a friend and we tried quite a few things off the menu. We started with the king prawns – beautifully cooked in a creamy sauce, and that squeeze of grilled lemon really brought it to life. The bread served on the side was a great touch and perfect for mopping everything up. For mains, we got the Korean BBQ short ribs, which were packed with flavour, and the picanha steak. Unfortunately, the steak was quite chewy and not the best cut – but the manager came over, explained that there had been an issue with their supplier, and offered to replace it with a filet mignon. That replacement steak was absolutely spot on – juicy, tender, and cooked perfectly. The peppercorn sauce was a bit too watered down for my liking, but the meat really held its own without it. We also ordered the truffle fries – the texture and quality of the potatoes were great, but they didn’t have that strong truffle flavour some might expect. Still enjoyable though. The Emmy burger was another highlight – the caramelized onions were soft and paired perfectly with the meat. Everything was clearly made with care. To top it off, the manager surprised us with a complimentary dessert – the key lime pie. The base was crumbly, buttery, and delicious, although I wasn’t the biggest fan of the mousse on top – just a texture preference. Overall, Meatworks is a great new addition to Manchester’s food scene. It’s also halal, which is a huge plus, and the service really stood out – the team went out of their way to make sure we left happy. I’ll definitely be back to try more soon.
